HANG ON TO YOUR 308 QV GTB

I just got back from Palm Beach. Two of my friends and myself drove over this morning from the Tampa Bay area for the day. I saw a lot of very cool cars in both the parking lot and on the golf course for the competition. I saw a handful of 328 GTS and maybe three 308 GTS. Other than my car I did not see a single 308 GTB. If you own a 308 GTB QV, I would not give it up any time soon, especially if it is a EURO.

(In contrast, expecting to see very few, I must have seen 20 - 25 F-430 Scuderia, in every color combo under the sun)

 

Stop sakying that!!!!!! I want one!!!!!

 

I just picked up an 84 GTB QV Euro 2 days ago

 

mine is for sale on ferrari ads, at least it was, i need to see if i need to re list if with the changes to ferrariads.

seems like they only imported a few euro 308's in general, QV GTB's were low production to begin with, since most people seemed to want red GTS cars then.

its good to be different!

 

My sister will like your perspective, as she owns a white '85 (red/Louis Vuitton interior). When I gave her a ride in my Vette she got disappointed with the performance of her QV (and wanted a targa)--perhaps posts like these will have her rethink that perspective . Halloween photo below:

yep, mine has crema interior. the experts tell me my car was made around april of 83, so its an early car. but it was titled as an 84.

Only thing cooler than a QV GTB is a carb GTB!

 

I agree that the carb cars are cool. Particularly the fiberglass ones. The trick is finding one nice enough to be worth owning. A pristine carb car is a keeper also.

 

I saw your is for sale -- great color, and Euro's the way to go. But not for those of us trapped in California.

Although I like the GTS more since I moved out of the cold.

 

To get an original blue QV GTB you have to get a Euro car, as they never made a USA example in blue.

 

Ok, I'll bite. I have a red '83 GTB QV Euro hiding in my garage....

I was waiting to reveal it, but ah, what the hell!

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, didn't have the good camera at hand, but more importantly, I'm back to 308 mania!

....yes, that's SNOW on the wheels. But don't get all worked up, I had to pull it out of the trailer and into the workshop!
