I second Paul's comment. I think P4/5 is more Meadowbrook though. I know we all here in Michigan cant wait to see it!

Pulling up on the hill in the back, after taking some ridiculous trophy for Best Car Ever, so all the photogs (myself included) can snap a ton of pics in the lush greens and trees? I think yes, sign me up. :D

They seemed to really like it. Next to P 4/5 they saw the lineage and the kids thought she was "Zoomey!" The crowd was pretty diverse and everyone got along. A lot of Ferrari guys came by as well.

The surprising thing to me was that there is still an amazing amount of interest in P 4/5 even though she's 3 years old and has been there 3 times before.

I do not think it would matter if P4-5 was 20 years old and had been there 20 times, I still think the amount of interest would be there just for the fact that it is a one-off and its incredible shape.

Jim, I had a quick question. The seats in the new 430 Scud look similar in style and material to the seats in the P4/5 (which clearly came first). Did the seats in the 430 come about because of your car or was that something they had in the pipeline and they stuck the idea into your car first? Or are they totally unrelated?

Jean Todt saw P 4/5 at Pebble Beach and loved the seats as well as several other details including my ipod hook up. He had a Ferrrari photographer take a lot of detail photo's and I suspect that's where the idea came from. In P 4/5 we developed a process to bond the rubber mesh to the leather seats. P 4/5's seats are all leather including the sides which are sueded leather
    not Alcantara.

P 4/5 pays Homage to the Great Ferrari Sports Racing Cars that came before her and the 430 Scud seats pay Homage to
    P 4/5.

The 'happy' group around P 4/5 seem to be pondering 'how did we get scooped on building this car'?

that is so cool. i can only imagine all the great experiences the p4/5 has given you. i know it has been answered before but why did they choose you to create the p4/5? they obviously made a great choice. your passion is, simply, infectious, but how could they forsee that? how did they know you wouldnt simply build it and then wrap it in bubble wrap never to see the light of day?

and one more off topic question, what is your single favorite moment involving the p4/5? from the first call (assuming you were called) till today

I think they knew I wouldn't hide her away and would face what ever had to be faced.

Standing with my family as Jesse and Andrea's son Luca lifted the cover at The Unveiling at David's Party at Pebble Beach was very special.

    Just found this on exoticspotter.com:

    http://exoticspotter.com/list.php?action=next&model=all&make=all&batch=bt000187/bt000187_757260.JPG&location=all&frm=batch_listing&page=0

here is the quote from the guy that took the picture:
"There were many exotic cars on the street this weekend. When the owner parked this car people came from everywhere, very hard to get good pics. He said this was the only one like it, and he paid 12million to Ferrari to build it. He said he has the rights and bodywork to build 12 others, but hes not going to. He was the coolest rich guy EVER! Other exotics followed him and parked as well. I have seen many exotics and Ive never seen ANYTHING like this!"

So Jim how does it feel to be the "coolest rich guy ever!"??? :D

    Cheers sir.
