So you must be looking for the old "tar top" Lucas battery then? Give Moss Motors or Victoria British a try.
A lot of us buy black Interstate batteries, remove their decals and apply a Lucas decal. I'm not certain, but I think this is OK with the judges. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Triple-C sells them for $2.49 http://www.triple-c.com/Store_Detail.cfm?ID=108272&InfoID=2441 XKS Unlimited for $6.10 https://www.xksunlimited.com/xks/merchant.ihtml?pid=18473&step=4 I have 15 X 5 Dayton wheels on the 1966 OTS (in the battery photo) and 15 X 6 Dayton wheels on my 1962 FHC (shown below) The 15 X 6 look a bit fat to my eye. I also have a set of NOS wires (with 1963 date code tires mounted) stacked in the garage.....interesting to look at, but the Dayton is a MUCH better wheel and tubeless too! Thanks... My next purchase will be wheels, why do you call the daytons better than the Dunlops... The Dunlops maintain the easy clean hub..and they were original Equipt supplier. http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=38363
Howdy Michael! I was comparing my modern Dayton wheels to my (nearly zero miles) 45 year-old factory wheels which have unimpressive metal finish, less attractive chrome and require tubes. I'd actually like to try a set of new Dunlop wheels someday and thanks for the link! Cheers!
