    Very Nice pics TM.

I saw the same color combo parked beside my place last night. Looked great.
I especially like the back 1/2 of the car.

Supercar, no. Sports car, yes... and a great one!

I drove a 2009 F430 Spider on Saturday and then drove the GT-R on Sunday... The GT-R was just as fun, if not more fun than the F430 was. It definitely has way more torque!! It's a very practical supercar.

I think that car looks great...in black. If a car only looks good in one color, its a design failure (I think one of the Ferrari/Pinninfarina designers said that)

what's the story on the graffiti wall? I assume that's somewhere in Austin?

It's just a wall at one of my parking lots. Local artists painted it and I thought it would make for an interesting backdrop. In Austin you have to get a special permit to have a graffiti wall.

How? By using a secret launch sequence? The car doesn't need launch control and nothing else you do will void the warranty.

I'm Loving your pictures, and I'm loving your car. The best colour combo for me, it looks a clean sleek futuristic design but mean with it.. I have been in East Asia for the last 18 months and managed to drive 2 of them, they were being delivered out there a while before Europe and the US got there hands on them. They are fantastic driving machines, and a incredible engineering achievement. Forget the negative comments Mike, your car is one of the greats of all time, its as true to its culture, as Ferrari is Italian, Porsche is German and a Viper is American. If people don't get it, its there loss, but i know the people who don't get it, are the ones who have not driven one hard!! .

I mean overall size. And the SS is gone. The car that will be in my garage replacing it is smaller.

Not to mention I wasn't really refering to actual numbers, visually it looks "big".

On a side note, Nissan just told there dealers to "reprogram" all cars LC....to many owners are breaking them it seems.

    On the 430?

    Yeah, I'd imagine it'd suck to break something on a 430 :)

Yes, if you use the launch control, you can void the warranty. There are having problems with the trannys - they are breaking under heavy launch.

It's a street car... if you want a drag car, get an old modified muscle car and take it to the strip.

or do both with a BMW M5 or Porsche Turbo... hell even a ferrari 430, then you can have the best of both worlds... fast in a straight line and can still be driven on the streets attaining the numbers that the manufactuerur publicized.

Ferrari will also void the warranty if you launch it.

FWIW - I happen to love the car. I am a 240Z owner, and I've owned many Nissan products. My apologies if I appeared to be negative. I was only pointing out that if you use the launch control, you void the warranty.

This is similar to what Mistubishi did with the Evo - if the data logged showed you used the car in an aggressive fashion, the warranty was void.

Nissan does stand behind their product - they have a software revision for the trans that allows hard launches with VDC ON, rather than VDC OFF.

I don't really want to get in this debate, but don't promise XX 0-60 and 1/4 mile times using a feature that will void your warranty if used. Much less advertise it.
