Interesting and to some degree a valid point. But there are lots of people out there that pay the bucks to buy them. The philosophy of "if it ain't busted, why fix it" seems to hold true as evidenced by their sales.

I was saying to PP today that if you were my client/customer, I'd be on the phone and say, "where are you Mr....... We'll bring out a loan car and take yours away to repair immediately and return it later today. Then again I am focused on customer service.

 

I can just imagine Croakey putting up with it!

Fantastic news. Every time I go in to see the progress on my car I see a Cup car being repaired.

As they say, one mans loss is another mans gain.

not so fast there young fella, heard today 997 cup cars might run in the GT3 Cup Challenge and also the GT Championship, so there could be cars that need fixing more often.

 

they made a mk2 GT2 996, i think maybe only 4 came into the country, not sure. HP went from 463 to 485, something like that. shell, lights etc were the same.

no reason why porsche wouldn't bring a mk 2 out, and charge punters more again for a newer version.

 

Yeah, stopped by today, there was a Maserati and an ex 888 car being prepared. Seemed to be race cars everywhere. And in the far corner was a lonely 308GTB all on its own as it was last photographed in December.

 

I think Moretti would prefer this Porsche actually! I know some people think that they are art...
