    i am trying to find my old 308.

    it is a 1980 308 gtsi, with black and tan interior. it was sold to florida about 4 years ago. at the time, i had just bought a home and couldn't buy the car, and it left texas.

    does anyone know of a black/tan 308 gtsi that is in this area?

    i have the serail number if anyone is serious.

    Did you try running the vin on carfax - it would let you know where the car has been registered.

    Have you tried conrtacting the DMV?

    See if you can make friends with a police man and have him put the vin into his computer. Does anyone know if Vehicle registrations are subject to the sunshine law?

    This sounds like it might have been Sindo's car. If it was, he sold it about 2 years ago.

    the vin comes up to the owner in texas that sold it to florida, it hasn't been registered since then

    just noticed the mirrors. when i owned it, it had driver and passenger vitrioni mirrors

    Mine was an '84 308 black metallic,the one in Fiuzas post above.
    Sold it to a guy in north Florida.
