    Saw a flat bed carrying away that silver Lamborghini VT (I believe) up Roswell Road but the crazy thing is that I think I saw a white 360 or 430. I didn't get a good look but it surprised me to see a white Ferrari in Atlanta. That would have been a first.

    Owner was having the car sent to the dealer for some routine maint. IE oil change, etc.

    Oh, and he has a white Ferrari 550 too, surprised you haven't seen it before.

    It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood....

    The day started off with the Verde Ithaca LP640 at Tin Lizzy's. The owner was super cool and even opened up the engine cover so I could get some pictures of it. I asked him why he kept the plastic seat covers on and he said he didn't want to mess up the matching green diamond design in the seats. He and a friend were out enjoying the warm weather and his friend said that later on they were going to go home and pick up the 430 Scuderia. I was hoping to see that today as well, but no luck....It's still good to know that there are a few in the area that get out on when the weather is nice.

    Next was the Maybach 62s at the Ritz, there's also a VW Phaeton sitting right behind it but I was too excited about the Maybach to take a picture of it. Next was an Aston Martin Vantage at the car wash on Roswell Rd and the last one was a DB9 Convertible at the Ritz.

    Some more from tonight...

    Ferrari 456 at the Shell on Roswell Rd, Mercedes C43...apparently they only made 1,400 of these, R8 parked on the road at Chops on dealer plates and finally a Phantom on Roswell Rd. It's really hard to get a picture in good focus at night while driving. Also tonight was an older Rolls Royce and another Phantom at the Mansion but they were packed and I didn't want to get in the way since their valet area is pretty tiny.

    Thursday January 22:
    - black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage at Terminus valet.
    - black BMW Z8 parked with an Acura NSX in general parking at Phipps Plaza during the evening.

    Friday January 23:
    - silver Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at Lenox and Piedmont.
    - black Maybach 62S on Illinois plates at the Ritz in Buckhead.

    Had some good spots tonight. First was a 355 spider at the place across the street from Intercontinental. F430 spider, Carlsson tuned S-class, and S5 at the restaurant on E. Pace Ferry near the intersection before going to Chops. CL 63 AMG (2 days old), CLS 63 AMG, and murdered out black S 63 AMG at Chops. There were a lot of Merc. out in full force tonight.

    Saturday, January 24
    - dark gray Audi R8 at the W Hotel in Midtown at around 9:30pm.
    - dark red Ferrari F430 Spider at the W as well, at the same time.

    Sunday, January 25
    - black Bentley Arnage on Arizona plates at the Omni hotel downtown.
    - silver Dodge Viper SRT-10 on California plates on North Druid Hills at I-85.
    - dark red Ferrari F430 Spider (the same one from last night) in the pay parking lot at Lenox Mall.
    - red Ferrari F430 Spider on Piedmont near Roswell Road.
    - orange Lamborghini Gallardo LP650 on dealer plates at Lenox Mall's valet.
    - black Rolls-Royce Corniche on Historic Vehicle plates at a car wash on Roswell Road.

    LP560, not 650 ;) Looks awesome though, I wish I wasn't so far away so I could have seen it.

    Went to a motorcycle show today so just one for me, a silver Ferrari 550 on Roswell Rd, the owner was sitting in it on the phone so I didn't want to pull up too close. I was hoping to have some pictures from the bike show too but it was mostly Harley Davidson's, and they just aren't my cup of tea.

    Now back to looking at Cavallino pictures....I really wish I could have gone and I'm planning my trip for next year already!

    Whoops! Filename's got it correctly. Sorry you couldn't get to it - it was at the mall for quite a while during the afternoon.

    That could be a 550, but it's got 575 wheels so I'd bet it's the latter. Nice spot - that's a very unusual car, even for Buckhead.

    A great day spotting today. From Buckhead:
    - black Audi R8 on temporary plates Peachtree near West Paces.
    - white Audi R8 on temporary plates on West Paces near Chops.
    - black Bentley Azure on Florida 'support hospices' plates on Roswell Road approaching Piedmont.

    The real highlight, though, was what appeared to be some sort of Dodge Viper club dinner at an Italian restaurant on Cheshire Bridge Road between Lavista and Piedmont. Some great cars:
    - blue Dodge Viper GTS
    - gray Dodge Viper RT/10 on Georgia plate SURLY 1
    - red Dodge Viper RT/10
    - black Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR
    - gray Dodge Viper SRT-10 coupe
    - blue Dodge Viper SRT-10 coupe

    Also caught a new Mazda 3 hatchback, which I didn't even know was out yet, on plates from Ontario, Canada.

    A spectacular Tuesday for cars today!

    Saw a lot of the same cars as Doug tonight, and thanks for the tip on the Viper club meeting, I got to see my first SRT/10 ACR tonight. I'm also glad to see that Audi has started delivering more R8's, we've seen 3 different ones within the past few days on temporary plates and I love seeing them around town. I saw the white one first at the BP at Pharr Rd and Piedmont and then again pulling into Intercontinental. The weird thing was that the owner was getting out of the car when I drove by the first time and when I went back to take a picture just a minute later, the car was gone...I'm guessing they parked it underground and I hope they aren't doing this with all their cars since I haven't seen anything good parked there in a few weeks. Also was a V8 Vantage at Blue Pointe.

    Very nice spots guys. R8s and Vipers.....who would've known.

    As for the ACR, one of the members here (allans) has the same one; he might have gone to it. Viewing it in the daytime is a real treat since you can make out the rear wing in proportion to the entire car. And dont let me get started on those tires. :D

    Plates were from far out of town. I don't remember the county, but I remember thinking it was one I almost never see, and I know my Georgia counties quite well. The rest of the vehicles were local.

    Here's a shot of an SRT-10 ACR in the daytime... you're right - the wing is nuts!

    A few from today...

    Started off at Lenox with a CLK 63 Black Series and a 430 parked together then was a new 370z with dealer plates. Finally, in the "what the hell" shot of the day was a LP640 Roadster with the top off parked outside under the awning at the Lamborghini dealership. The gates were locked and nobody was anywhere around except for a truck driver who was parked right in front of the dealership.

    My only car of the day was a dark blue Bentley Arnage on dealer plates at Butler Tire on Wieuca and Roswell.

    Hey Andrew - do you happen to know if the Intercontinental got rid of their Phantom?? I haven't seen it out front since I got back nearly three weeks ago, and it used to be a daily sighting.

    I was thinking the exact same thing today, I haven't seen it in a while and I drive by there every day on my way to work, so maybe they did get rid of it.

    A couple spots today:

    - gray Ferrari 360 Modena in a valet stand of a new building just off Peachtree.
    - black Maybach 62S on Illinois plates at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead valet.

    Also got some shots of the all-new Lexus RX, including a shot of two of them together. They were on California 'manufacturer' plates, and I think they were at Lenox Mall for some preview test drive.

    Very sad accident today at Lenox and Piedmont. My thoughts are with all involved.

    The event was for anyone who wanted to take the cars out for a test drive, I took one for a spin around Lenox and it was pretty nice. They also gave me a $15 gift card to the mall just for filling out a survey. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. The only bad thing about the whole experience was that I saw a white Vantage convertible while I was driving and I couldn't swing a U turn to go get a picture of it.

    As for today's spots...

    360 Modena at Lenox, Some old Bentley at the Ritz, Gallardo Spyder at Intercontinental, 62s at the Ritz, Vantage at Peachtree and Piedmont, 430 at Blue Pointe and an R8 at Terminus on temporary plates. I saw the white R8 too but was going the wrong way so no pics.

    I think the guys at Blue Pointe remember me because tonight when I pulled through, I rolled my window down to let them know that I wasn't parking and they just pointed at the 430 and said go ahead before I even said anything. Overall it was a pretty good Friday night

    Thanks! Would be nice to see a yellow Diablo around town every once in a while though...
