What is the car worth? Considering it is very very clean and a nice grey with tan interior. I haven't followed the market on these so any help would be appreciated :)

The "starting bid" price on cars like this may not be close to the reserve set on it. They usually are just trying to get some bidding going. But who knows in this economy? Looks like 599's can be bought for 150k less than last year. Things are getting crazy out there. Maybe in the near future you won't even be able to sell a car like this period! It seems like everyone including the so called rich are only buying the necessities. Most people are only going for deals too good to pass up. IMHO right now cash is king and those who have it want to protect it untill they have some real idea were things are headed.

Then it looks like a great buy. Could be fortunate for someone who wants one and is willing to part with the cash. There are so many tempting deals on almost anything you could want right now and they will most likely keep getting better.

there is no telling what the seller will really sell the for unless you call and make an offer....they may want more than $80k , or they jump at an offer of $80k...i have seen 3 -4 new ones in my suburban area in the last 3-4 months, so these are selling....

Sadly, the Maserati resale market was hit by the economy in 2005. Give it one more year and it will be $60k

I may have to disagree. In 3-6 months he'll see a $10K hit if not more... But it's all about enjoying these Italian machines!
