Just thought I would give a little AZ warm hello. Plus, this is the time of year WE get to gloat. From June to September Phoenix is like living in a convection oven... but Flaggstaff and San Diego are only a few hours drive if we want to get out of the heat.

I went to school in Iowa and swore I would never put up with another winter again! Stay warm guys! :)

Silver Bentley Brooklands stayed behind me and finally passed me after about 10 miles on 55 South this morning. Strange thing to see in this ridiculously cold weather.

Acura NSX riding my ass on 294 S with 3 inches of snow on the ground. Mashed on the brakes about 3 times to shake him/her off. After about 10 minutes finally passed me up, giving me the finger as if it's my fault that I don't want to slide into a ditch.

Steven I'm so sick of this weather, if I could get out of town I'd leave the squad in the middle of Roosevelt and walk to O'Hare! By the way, were those guys any help giving you info about the car?

    Neil,
My wife is VERY much against the interceptor, so I never bothered talking to them. While searching around to see what I could sell my car for, to compare prices, I found another 2004 VUE for sale for $9,995 with the redline package. My wife is all for that car, so now I have to make a trip to carmax to see what my car is worth, so I can try to get the ball rolling for the redline.

Its been a hectic week with this...thank you for all your help/input!

Was the Exige blue? I saw one (thought it was an Elise though) yesterday at Clark and Diversey.

I saw Mark in his white Scud around 3:00 PM passing Denny's in Highland Park today. I think it's great that you're driving it Mark! Looked stunning!

You should've honked ,I would give you a ride....

Btw,I was between "rock and a hard place",a cop in front of me and a very nasty Prius that tried to push me off the road.
Cop turned on West Park but immediately returned to 41 and followed in the distance hoping for me to push it (as I did from Lake-Cook).

Steven, all I know is it wasn't me!!! That's a DuPage County guy, probably detective. I absolutely refuse to go in there in uniform even though they do have the best coffee!

Neil, I was hoping you'd comment here. I figured it was a detective car, but wasn't sure if it was Wheaton or not, though DuPage County makes much more sense seeing the color of the car. I'll have to re-name the file in my computer

Forgot to mention this...a few years ago I saw a marked DuPage squad car in front of a psychic's down on Roosevelt in Lombard (east end of town, maybe even Villa Park). I had a picture of it, but lost that in a hard drive crash
