I own a 2000 Ferrari 456GTM. I live in the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. i want to move back to the US, and wanted to know what kind of EPA or any other engine specification changes would be required to the car to be able to register it in the us. Also, are there any places that would do this for me.
    Thanks

Its been done a million times. You can even do it for cars to be in california. These are the best guys been around for years and are the best especially if you want cali compliant. With today's cars very little has to be done to get the cars to comply. Most of it is hoop jumping with the exact paperwork. These guys can pick the car up at the docks and do the whole deal and all you have to do is show up with a check book and drive the car away.

You CAN NOT do the import and federalization yourself. The laws don't allow it. You must use an authorized importer to do the work. They post a bond, do the work, test the car, and sign off the paperwork with the NHTSA & EPA. After everything is done they get the bond released.

If you are targeting CA there are only two testing facilities that can do 50 state testing. One is in Napa and the other is in souther CA, Long Beach as I recall.
