GT4 on Ebay

if you pay this car 34 k, you can choose to buy my mondi at 90k or friend o mine 328 at 130k

Err Joey, what's wrong with this car?

I had ours appraised last week. Prices here in Europe are MUCH higher than in the US, but the little difference with my girlfriend's 328 might surprise you:

1974 Euro Dino 308 GT4: EUR 40,000 (or US$ 50,800)
1987 USA spec 328 GTS: EUR 45,000 (or US$ 57,150)

A friend's mondial 8 recently sold for quite a bit less than my GT4.

I think you might want to rethink the value of a GT4....

Love the color.

Depends on the quality of the restoration, how the motor checks out, etc....Definetly worth checking out.

Looks lke a very nice car, love the blue. Price seems ok to me, if its as nice as they say, perhaps a bit low.

Personally I think the blue is just about the worst color on these cars that I have ever seen.

Obviously, having owned #15302 in Dino Blue Metallic, and seeing Hans' car often in photos, I can honestly say that GT4's in blue look fantastic.

Now on to the discussion on this specific GT4. I think the market has settled a bit on these cars (hopefully, not a long term phenomenon)....but I think that a low mile car or solid restoration with major service complete would be in this price range ($30 to $35K).

This one might have a few gremlins to sort out after 12 years of inactivity, and there is no way that I would run a 2V engine on old belts --fresh major appears to be required. So this looks like a $30K car tops to me given that assumption, and of course, pending a PPI. Solid drivers seem to be priced in the mid to upper $20's.

By the way, #15302 is back in Denver. I spoke to its proud new owner recently, and it is doing very well. Old photo below.

Looks like a solid car but most cars do in photos. Wrong steering wheel and side mirrors but other then that looks good. Nice interior too.

 

I think the asking price is a very reasonable starting point, and if the car meets its description in person, then it is certainly a $30-35K gt4.

As a matter of personal taste, the blue looks great but I certainly would put the original steering wheel back on as the silver alum momo matches the dash better than the black momo--and they are including the original wheel.

 

I think it's a nice looking car too. Looks like the AC box might be missing a side piece. And the spare is kind'a funky.

But other than that, it looks like they've tried to make sure everything is there. Even the smog equipment!

That's the same spare that I have, its just sitting in the well backwards....

Very useful spare too. I've used it twice already!

Interestingly, when you hit the throttle a bit too enthusiastically, the spare will spin and you'll get a demonstration of the limited slip diff on your car - the good side will push the car TOWARD the slipping wheel...

I called on this car yesterday. The dyno figures were done on the flywheel by a Mustang dyno. The figures they quoted are not 100% accurate figures. Stock rebuild on the engine, and according to the gentleman I spoke with, the dyno numbers are only somewhat accurate. THe engine was only on the dyno for tuning and emission purposes prior to dropping into the car.

All work performed was done by the dealer and the invoices are dizzying. Seems to be a nice stock example.

 

How long ago was the rebuild? and belts/tensioners serviced? Did they say?
