We need some cars for the aftermarket display area of the DC Auto Show. Last year, we had a great display on the lower level near the Bentley and FoW displays.

This year, the space was all but slated for another use until yesterday. The show organizer called a friend of mine frantically needing to fill the space.

We would like to have some exotics for static display. If you have a business, it would be a good opp to get in some free advertising while your car is there. Many used a small placard or windshield banner for that purpose.
We need cars to arrive on Monday Feb 2 and they have to stay until Sunday Feb 8. You can drive them in and back out yourself.

Of course, there is no charge and I'll arrange guest passes to the show for anyone that displays a car.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns!

    Thank you,
    LS

For anyone that replied back to me privately about displaying your car...

Please be at the Washington Convention Center tomorrow at 3pm. Specifically, on M Street between 7th and 9th near the loading dock entrance.

The cars need between 1/2 and 3/4 tank of gas to be let in.

Give me a ring when you get there.

    Thank you,
    LS

Guys, decent turnout at the DC Auto Show. A few Ferraris in the Aftermarket area that just went in last night.

Also, all of the major manufacturers are there...except for Ferrari, Maser, Lambo.

Although, there are examples of almost all of the latest F, M and L on display elsewhere in the show.

I will get you details on the yellow car tomorrow. It is a hand built, and it is pretty silly. Met the owner, LASH will know all about it I am sure...it is pretty sweet.

Junglistluder is now brainwashed since the dudes walked up and loved his car, he now believes that LOTUS is the new FERRARI (LMAO)

He and I were walking around a little and that flat black 430 looks pretty cool too, but how they clean that thing is beyond me...it looks like USAF Stealth paint.

I am going to hang out at the show tomorrow. Will post up tomorrow evening with some more shots.

Hey Brendan thanks for posting pics as I didn't get a chance to go down today.

The yellow car is a Factory Five GTM w/ ZO6 vette motor. Light, fast but I was not impressed with it's build quality. Very cool looking and I'm sure a beast to drive though. Others may have more info...

Lash's Caddy is pretty hard to keep up with. Trick is to lower your window and follow the loud exhaust growl. :)

I think the 5th pic down on this web page might actually be a pic of Lash's car on the Mallet website:
Same color combo with the black mallet alloy wheels on it.

When you turn the key the bark has a verious serious bite...it'll do some damage....and kill when necessary.

BTW, I will be getting a ride...thanks to LASH...

I took a shot at it this summer and the passengers that were with me nearly soiled their undies!
That thing flat flies. What's nice is how well the whole package works together. I have driven a few fast cars ;-) and this one ranks pretty high for a street machine. Especially when you factor it has DVD and Nav and weighs in just under the Queen Mary II.
Question is how is Lash able to drive a car with Nav and DVD without going into carbed vintage throwback convulsions?

If a street car impresses Spang with it's power it's gotta be decent. I must say, that it is pretty "sporty" due in part to the engine specification and power curve.

Toggie, the pic on the Mallett link is indeed my car. It's on there as the 3rd production example they built and with their first set of custom Mallett wheels.

The show display turned out pretty good, the reception last night was a lot of fun. Met Mr. Fisker in person...didn't know that he designed the DB9, V8 Vantage and the BMW Z8 (gross). Quite a spectrum...I asked what his favorite designs of all time were and he said E type and 250GTO.

I too can attest to the fact that that CTS, I mean Mallett, (someone's got to bust your balls lash) is quite the vicious one. I drove it last year and can honestly say that it is faster than my 05 viper srt10!!!!!!!!!!

So what did you do with that Cadillac motor or did it come stock with the Chevy power block? :)

I do, and Minico has some too.
I can and will post mine tomorrow AM, think he will too.

All the cars are in a large Semi-circle and look great...The four Ferraris are all in production order. Minico's 308GT4, then my 348SS, Dreamer's 355, and then your 360.

    It is pretty sweet.

This one was custom ordered with a 7 liter C5R Le Mans based engine. If you come to the show to see the Ferraris in our area, you can check out the car. On display is a spec sheet that details the motor build...billet reciprocating assembly, 427 cu in, T304 Long Tubes, etc...
