Last weekend I visited Brett's (Brettski here on the forum) shop Gran Turismo to pick up some parts for my 400. It was well worth the 14 hour drive!

My first impression was that it looked like an Italian Ferrari workshop, really nice. Ferrari bodies stripped to the bare steel/aluminum, engines that are being rebuild, gearboxes being rebuild, etc etc. Magic is happening in his shop. Turn in an old Ferrari and come and get as a newborn one. Brett and his mechanic Mike show some real craftsmanship and love on every peace they get into their hands. It was a delight to see Mike putting back together a gearbox of a 365 GT4 2+2.
I enjoyed every minue I was there; looking at all the F-cars being rebuild, really tasty espresso, pizza etc etc. But the best of all were Brett and Mike, really nice guys taking time to answer all my questions and just to hang around with.

I think for everybody in North America that they really should consider Brett's shop to get their maintenance done on their 365 GT4 2+2, 400 or 412. Your car really is in good hands with these two guys. For me this is the place to go from now on, for all my F-cars.

Brett, thanks again for the nice day I had in your shop.

...and you know what Mitch, any 32 year old Dutch guy who flys F-16's for a living and has 3 Ferrari's is on my radar screen as well...

kidding aside, Jan is a super cool young guy who not only restores his own Ferrari's (208GT4,208GTB,400iGT), but does amazing things like camping out of a GT4 for weeks at a time as he tours Europe, including the Mille Miglia route...fantastic, just fantastic.

even in my dreams i don't do **** that cool...

it was great to meet you Jan and i hope it was the begginning of a long friendship. thanks for sharing the day with us.
