    Hard to answer without knowing what else the car has on it, and the shape it is in, but the color is not going to be at the top of most peoples list, and for some custom wheels are not going to add any value to the car. I'd say 120K. I owned a 04 six speed spider, and yes get a PPI, ask for service records, make sure no body work has been done, and check the top operation, and the fuel gauge. ood luck to you. Is white the only color you want?

    Most importantly...remove your CAPS LOCK.

    Next, take a look at the thread at the very top of this section. I think it is titled "Shopping for a used 360". Some great information in there. Also, be sure to investigate the service/campaign history of the car...personally, if there is no service record of the work, it never happened, so check the records carefully.

    Juice - it's a small world. If the car is in the DC area, then either Competizione or FoW likely knows the car.

    ditto on the color...good for you that you like it, follow your bliss, but it will be tougher to sell if/when you ever get done with it...that mileage isn't "bad", but my guess is you are the only person seriously interested in that color/combo, and in case you haven't noticed, people aren't lined up down the block to buy any exotics now...personally, for $120k the thing should be pristine and laden with options IMHO...120k ~tops~, my guess is if the seller isn't in LaLaLand, they should hit a $110k bid.

    +1, Give these guys a call, they will know everything about the car.

    Most of the re-sell red '04 spiders are asking $110k-$115k, so I would put this car down around $105k-$108k. Make yor best offer and see what happens.

    Please also stop using the CAPS LOCK. Thanks!

    Do a CarFax on it for starters. Check for damage history, flood history, salvage title etc... Ownership history should be consistent with the cars story. If it has a clean CarFax, passes your inspection and you can agree on a price then make any deal contingent on passing a PPI to your satisfaction.

    Dealers usually wont do PPI's so you will need to have that done by an independent shop.
    The PPI should look for signs of damage & repairs, service history, check engine compression & leakdown, functionoing of all systems, overall condition. Then additionally have it brought to a dealer for an SD2 download of error codes & clutch wear.

    Try to track down prior owners to speak with if possible.

    The combination of CarFax, PPI, SD2 download and discussions with prior owners should give you a good overall
    perspective on the cars condition and history.

    keep in mind, aftermarket wheels kill resale value on these car- even if they are very expensive wheels. This along with the color, you have him in a little of a corner- if he HAS to sell. I'm just sayin'..........

    Ok i will stop using caps...sorry. This is great info. Yes white is the color I want. The car is located i california so richard is out of the question. I am flying out tomorrow morning. This seller told me he paid $20k more for the white and just bought a 430 and also paid $20k for the white again? From what I know this car is pristine and has been serviced religiously and has no body damage. Thanks to all

    This must be the car in Burlingame? If it is I have seen it in person, it is beautiful! The white/grey is stunning in person.
    While I did not go over it with a fine tooth comb, it looked to be in "new" condition.

    They told me they were asking 179K for it though!

    It's been on craigslist for ever, I'm pretty sure they must be motivated to sell by now; their prices seem to be higher than everyone else in the area.

    Oh, and just because they paid $20k over does't mean you have to - it's not a popular color.

    That's right. It doesn't matter what the salesman tells you; white is a deduction in price, not an increase, for a used Ferrari.

    That's a pretty interesting color combo.
    You and the car seem made for each other.
    Keep that in mind when you make the offer, but keep it under your belt.
    Seller should know that isn't an easy combo to sell and the market continues to fall.
    Are you a cash buyer? If so he should take your offer very seriously. (Many can try but few can afford)
    Decide beforehand on your price and stick to it.
    Base your price on "If the car is perfect". Don't raise the price in your mind, just because you're standing next to it.
    If the car has some small faults (within reason) drop your price in your mind before you make the offer.
    Look the car over carefully and make the offer. (Contingent on a PPI. Never, never, never buy without a PPI no matter what. Never)
    If he balks at the PPI... walk away. Or as some say Run Forest, Run.

    If he won't take your price. Walk away. Then call a week or two later and see if they still have the car. I think you'll be surprised.

    Having said all that and you are wealthy beyond. Work the guy down as much as you can and buy it. I've been looking for a year and I've never seen that color combo. So if you like it and you have the money. Buy it. You won't see that color combo again for 3+ years.

    I'd offer in the $120 range, keeping in mind what I said above.

    I think the $120k number looks right;

    In its favor - low miles, good condition.

    Against - very lightly optioned (power daytonas, modular wheels, exhaust), missing the popular challenge grills, F1 gearbox, shields (love/hate).

    Strongly against (don't let them tell you otherwise) - "unique" color, you won't sell it in a hurry.

    If you like it, go for it and good luck.

    I go for the slightly different combos........... actually the white looks pretty cool. (would be VERY nice
    with rear challenge grill to offset the white a bit).

    Only comment I'd have is............mine is Grigio Alloy (aka. extremely light blue metallic, and, with a blue
    interior). We (wifey and I) really liked it...........was different, and sure, I know in-advance should the day
    come to sell it, it will take a while BUT. I didnt buy the car for someone else, and bought it for me.

    Guess I'm saying, if you are buying the car for YOU to enjoy........... put that into strong consideration,
    and good luck! Tell them $110, and if not ........ let them play with it. (And thats after a PPI)

    After the inspection comes back clean buy it. You are not going to find another white one. You can pick up a set of 360 or f430 wheels cheap if you don't like the ones on it. Price matters but the condition of the car is the most important thing.

    not sure where everyone is getting that white isn't a popular color. White seems to be all the rage right now in exotic cars. And there are very few white 360s out there simply because white has become popular after the 360 ended production. I have only seen 2 white 360s forsale, and they both sold for a premium because of the color. There may be fewer people looking for white than red, but because of the number or cars available, they do well with resale. As for wheels, many ferrari's also include the stock wheels if they have aftermarket ones. (mine did)

    I think it's a generational thing.

    Sportscars used to be be very color specific.

    Ferrari = Red
    Jaguar/Lotus = Green
    Porsche = White or Silver
    Mercedes = Silver
    Lambo = White/Yellow
    Ford = Blue

    Not to say they didn't come in other colors, but hardcore traditionalists always like the color of the car to match the Factory Racing Team colors.

    Some cars today choose colors to help define the cars personality

    Porsche GT3 = White
    Subaru = Blue with gold wheels

    Lambo Countach looked good in white.
    The Ferrari Testarossa looked good in Miami, in the 80's, in white. But you had to be wearing pastel colors to pull it off. Or white linen.

    I never really liked white on a car until I saw a F430 Scud with Red stripes.

    When I went looking for a Gallardo, I was told that Orange, Green, and Yellow were the best colors, and for resale stay away from Silver. The thing is light silver was the color I liked the best in the car. Well my Gallardo is light silver, and the hell with resale, I never cared before, I'm not going to start now. Buy what you like and drive it
