And they don't rub??? I wonder why the factory widened the rear fenders then...????...less aerodynamic and some argue the flares don't look as good....????
Victor: Its close, but they don't rub. You have to remember that the factory widened the rear fenders of an SV not simply because they threw on a set of 9-inch wide wheels. Its was primarily because in upgrading the rear suspension geometry of the SV, the rear lower suspension was changed from inverted A-arm with trailing link to a regular A-arm with the base of the A on the frame rather than the top of the A being mated to the frame. The slightly beefed-up new A-arm (wishbone link) for the SV was about 1.5 inches longer than the old inverted A-arm. Thus it was necessary for the upper mounting point to be placed 1.5 inches further outward also. Net result = suspension extends 1.5 inches wider on each side, so an SV NEEDS the wider bodywork for 9-inch rims and the P400S does not. BTW, all the aforementioned is why the SV handles so much better through the 'twisties As for whether the SV's flared rear end looks good or not, I will defer to the notion that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder..."
No its not sold out, and when it is it will be reprinted. Admittedly, this will happen sooner than we thought...

Just come back from a long day...at Retromobile - Paris. and you know what...NO Miura presented this year... question of "taste" some people said or that market prices are too high for what it worth, as there is no demand for Miura as they are the same 9 Miura for sale in Europe for months. Brokers don't want to show them and prefer to avoid wasting time...they need to sell quickly to get fresh cash ! Besides that => plenty of Ferrari, Bugatti, Bizzarrini, Porsche, Alpine. The only one Lambo is a Jarama GTS, that I will put tomorrow in its thread. Don't regret to not have done the trip to Paris for the exhibition...
Dont know offhand. Surely they can tell you? If they wont tell you, let me know and I will find out...
