GranTurismo is certainly more stunning but I just like the looks of the Gransport more.

I like the GranSport BUT the GranTurismo just simply rocks! Of course it looks so much better in person.

I don't like the chrome trim around the windows, the tinted glass, the wheels, the lack of the Maserati grill, the Turismo doesn't even remind me of a Maserati.

While the exterior updates (spoilers, surfboards, etc penned by Frank Stephenson) for the 2005 GranSport easily brings the style more up-to-date with a more agressive appearance. The GS is still based on (or at least in common with) Giugiaro's Daewoo Bucrane Concept of 1995. I guess I am saying the GS a is good-looking car but so last century and slightly Korean. Unfortunately, Giugiaro's South Korean designs and relationships is probably why Maserati turned to Pinnifarinna for the QP/GT styling. Unfortunate because of Giugiaro's "folding-paper" designs that so defined Maserati during the 70/80's.

Whereas the GT has a lot of the design elements of Ken OKuyama's Birdcage 75th. To me, the GranTurismo exterior design is simply stunning. Its how to incorporate historical design elements/trademarks in a thoroughly modern package without going the retro path i.e. Mustang, Challenger, upcoming Camaro.

Has the aggressive lines that remind me of 70s Masers.

GT; prettiest car since the Dino (with a nod to the Cayman as well).

that's my car! hey, that's my picture too. :)

I love the GranSport, but think the GranTurismo has the edge in looks. For value the GranSport wins without doubt. For track and spirited driving GranSport makes a strong case. For looks though, GranTurismo (especially the S) wins.

I can't help but think the Gran Turismo is the most beautiful automobile currently in production. The Gran Sport on the other hand is handsome on the road but less exotic looking.

Wow, didn't think I'd feel this way, but I like the GS better!

Biding my time, letting the prices drop further...

    Interesting POLL.
I'll bet the factory didn't think that 25% of Maserati afficionados would prefer the styling of the GS over the GT.

The Gran Turismo by a mile.

PS: The Birdcage and Gran Turismo were designed by Jason Castriota not Ken Okuyama.

OK now, I think a mile is going too far. :) The average person couldn't tell the difference between the two and a Hyundai Tiburon. A mile would be between a GT and a Renault Le Car. :D
