I do live in Hawaii (Oahu) and I do own a Ferrari ('89 328). count me in, although after signing-up the note on the pole says I cannot participate in the pole.
Xavier I run the Exotic events on Maui and I can put you in touch with my counter part on Oahu. Shoot me an email and i'll get the info to you. The new Hawaiian Super Ferry (Oahu to Maui) is opening new doors for us. The Big Island is the next port planned. Welcome to the Islands. [email protected]
Thanks for the support guys. Rob should make one for us. After what I seen last week in Kapalua, I think we have a very good following. Looking forward to running with you guys real soon. Xav
I would like to get the Oahu guys on here also. But I think they would only post if there was an actual forum. Rob can you give us like a 6 month probation? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey! I just stumbled upon this thread. I lived on Oahu from early 1999 to mid 2006. However, chances are looking good I'll be moving back sometime in the next few months. So now I'm looking at the decision: if/when the move does happen, do I ship my recently acquired 348 out there, or park it in a barn in Texas for the next few years... hmmm. In any case, add one more to the poll... that is, if I can be included since I'm not technically a resident at the moment, even if I do still have a valid HI drivers license.
You are most welcome here. And yes please vote in favor if you will be moving here. The guys here are great and welcomed me back real quick. Shipping the car here would be your best bet!!! The more F cars on the island the better!
Well, i guess that is that. Looks like Rob will not budge and us Hawaii people do not really have a place to start planning runs and stuff. Emery, I guess it is just your mailing list. Kinda sucks that Hawaii could not get anything.....
Xavior - Why don't you pick a regional forum and create a "Hawaii" thread. Just because you didn't get enough of a group going this time, doesn't mean you can't use the forum to organize and communicate. As I recall, Belgium had its own thread for 1-2 years and the traffic eventually got high enough that Rob was amenable to setting up the forum. A single thread doesn't have the organizational flexibility of a forum, but with 8-10 users, it might not need much.
