google Chrom and GMail Icon

How does one go about having the envelop shortcut normally found with Google toolbar attached to Google Chrome?

 

Right click on the toolbar and add the link. It's really just a bookmark on the toolbar, but that's all you can do at the moment.

 

Nothing happens when I right click the tool bar, no window opens, no display of options.

 

Right Click on the lower toolbar.
Click on "Add Page".
Type Gmail in the Name Pane
Type "www.gmail.com" in the url pane
Click OK
It will put the shortcut in the left side of your toolbar
You can also download the gmail notifier it will put an icon
in your system tray. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the help but I had to do it a different way than you mentioned. I had to go in under the bookmark manager AND I didn't have the "Bookmarks Bar" selected/ on, that's why I couldn't right click earlier.

I have it now and I wasn't a fan of the GMail notifier, it seemed wonky.
