You are welcome to sit/ride in it anytime, just don't leave any butt imprints on it! :D I always chuckle when I see pictures of Fcars with some girl in sharp high heels planting her bony bum on the hood.. body work is expensive nowadays LOL

You are evil. I'll have to stand by my claim that it looks like a door wedge, at least until you let me drive it ;)

Red early '70s Daytona coupe, southbound on Waugh near Dallas, around 12:15pm today, Saturday..

Wow, who's car is this? Much more impressive in the flesh than in pics....

    Cool...

    Greg

PS--noticed some serious rear negative camber--is this common on these cars? Probably just tired springs..

Any idea who owns that Daytona? First one I've seen around here, and I've lived in Houston for years....

    :)

As I was pulling into Costco. on Richmond, a black Alpina B7 was pulling...you don't see those too often.

And As I was walking out of Costco...A silver SLR convertible was in the parking lot. this was around noon.

now, i have to post selfishly, i drove one of my dino's yesterday and at first thought i had a bad battery, we couldn't start in uptown park, and had to get jumped off - thank you VERY much to who helped me out (not unexpected, but VERY appreciated). there were a couple of really nice old maserati's and pantera's in the lot. got jumped off, and thought we were fine. parked at the neiman's valet, but......no start when we left - you would think there were jumper cables or a jump box there.

pushed the dino and popped the clutch to get it started (first time i have ever done that in a car other than a vw bug), which was nice and well until a jackass pulled a sudden u-turn on post oak. the brake slam caused the dino to die, and i sat stalled in the middle of post oak for almost 30 minutes. a little pushing back and forth trying to pop the clutch again didn't seem to work. all being said, the dino was blocking traffic on post oak for the better part of about 1 1/2 hours between westimer and alabama.

there is no better feeling than a jack ass not paying attention, while you are trying to figure what the hell to do, slamming on there brakes and kicking their abs on to avoid hitting a car when there is no reason they couldn't see you.

for at least 45 minutes, i was waiting on a reason to call my insurance company. there is a light at the cross walk between neiman's and dillard's, obviously, i would never had expected that is actually a "LAUNCH ZONE" for people driving down post oak
