shanghai is really nice
Great pics, bud. Living the life! I went around Asia last summer - Seoul, Shenyang, Dalian, and Kuala Lumpur. Saw many exotics in Seoul (7GT2, GTR, Reventon, R8, Scuderia, etc), a few in KL (F430s, GT3RS), but NONE in Shenyang (S65 and S8, but no F-Cars), and only 1 F430 in Dalian. Attached is the picture of the F430 in Dalian, I can post the others if any request. I'll be in Tokyo and Taipei in August, and maybe Shanghai & HK. If any of you will be there then, we should go clubbing or grab drinks some evening. Clubs in Asia make North America seem so boring... Cheers, W (wont show up for some reason, without clicking on it)
Is there a Ferrari corporate location in Shanghai? I was at the corner of Beijing Lu and Shimen Lu (I think those were the names,) and I passed an unmarked building that had a a full size Ferrari F1 car in the window and a front desk with a big Ferrari horse logo behind it. I looked at the building, but didn't see a name anywhere. It was dark, so maybe I missed it. I don't think it was a dealer, as there is already a big showroom on Nanjing (I think.) This didn't have room for anything but the F1.
I like your pixs Mahwon dude.... in fact I made a trip specially down to Shanghai and stayed at the Hyatt on the Bund just to see in person the nite scene pixs u took. Nice...Was down at M1NT too but a very slow nite there so ended up at Buckingham ktv. Local joint but loads of syts ...
by this august i should be living in shanghai, so keep in tough, i am always down for drinks/clubs/irresponsible thing
i think you saw the former Ferrari store, is it across the street from XingTianDi? if so thats where the Ferrari store used to be, but they went outta business as of last Fall.
nice i like buckingham heaven on earth was undergoing renovation, it should be sick once it opens again. only in asia, where you do more than just karaoke at a ktv
Nah, definitely not there. North of Nanjing Xi Lu, slightly south of the river. It had an actual F1 car sitting in the room, so this place couldn't have been out of business. Had lights on, some LCDs on the walls showing clips, a front desk etc. I'll go stroll by it again tomorrow. Maybe I just missed the sign.
Ok, that time of the year again, well earlier than expected this year. 4/19, Shanghai GP, who is in? I will be in town with about 10 friends from New York, Cali and Texas. Gonna party up like its 1999, holla at me if anyone will be in town.
I may or may not be in Shanghai for the GP. Thinking about heading to Malaysia for the weekend. BTW, anyone ever been to the Shanghai auto show? Any good?
