I saw the Redline movie Enzo last week. It might be a good buy for someone who doesn't mind the history. I have to congratulate Matt for taking on the project. He used all OEM parts, but I'm not sure how well they were assembled. The car felt very fast but not so solid. Ferrari of Houston could likely check it for you. I'd recommend having the tub checked and using the SD3 to check for engine and transmission history.

Really? The current owner told me I'm the first person to check out the car in detail since it was re-built.Where can I read about someone else doing that? I could have saved myself a trip!

The car could be a good deal if the things I noticed do not cost much to fix. If the SD3 looks good and the tub is intact, you can likely get a good Enzo for well under $1M. The owner is wiiling to have the car inspected.

By not solid, what do you mean? I've had experience in a few Enzo's...

When you buy a new car, it feels like it's made from a single block of steel. No squeaks or rattles. As it gets older, you start to notice more squeaks and rattles and that "single block of steel" feeling is gone. This Enzo felt like the older car. Now that may be normal for Enzo's with this mileage, so I can't say for sure it was a poor re-assembly because I didn't take the car apart and inspect all the torques, adhesives, alignments, etc.

That's why I say if the car inspects OK from an authorized Ferrari dealer (Ferrari of Houston, TX can do it) this car might be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own an Enzo at a greatly reduced price.

I would definitely have some experts give a thorough PPI on this car.

Possibly, if he doesn't mind waiting 375 years for you to pay it off with 0% interest.

Maybe say less than 4 centuries. That may sound better.

Yes indeed ... Redline is of low quality and even lower intelligence, but it's lots of fun, doesn't take itself too seriously, and is into fast women and faster cars. In short, it's a lot like me. I've seen it many times.

The Eddie Griffin Enzo crash ranked #1 out of 20 on an episode of World's Dumbest Drivers on truTV. I like Eddie, so I'd personally award the World's Dumbest Track Designer to whoever put the concrete barrier there.

"Well under" as in $800,000 ... or more realistically ... $600,000? Hard to imagine it being worth more than its original MSRP with its history.
