saw a Silver Aston Martin AMV8 on the QEW going east past St Catherines
Speaking of the autoshow... In the past at other shows where they've had the Ferrari booth closed off, you simply had to show them a copy of your ownership and you were allowed in. Does the same thing apply in Toronto? Or does it have to be arranged through the dealership to gain access to the inside?
Well, Id either call the dealership to find out for sure, or just show up with a good looking lady with a nice rack. Was there last year ogling the scuderia, I casually asked if i could come in to get a few pics from behind the car. They replied with a very firm"no". Not ten minutes later 2 VERY nice looking ladies showed up. couple flirtatious hair tosses later and they were in getting the grand tour. Sucks to be a fat white dude these days
LOL Funny but true........ It doesn't suck to be a fat white dude........a quick hair flip and you can get a pass into the Chevy display...LOL
Who cares anyway? I certainly don't. I mean, unless there is a 288GTO and F40 or perhaps a classic competizione Ferrari then you will definetly see THIS fat white dude jumping the velvet ropes
I'll be shooting at press day tomorrow so I'll be sure to post up some pictures from the show when I get back!
LOL I can see it now..........."Attention all units, we have a breach of security at the Ferrari display....fat, white dude has jumped the ropes, please use all necessary force to detain him...."
Ferrari booth at the show this year consists of: Yellow 16M Scuderia Spider Red 430 Coupe Grey 599 Grey 612 Scag
No California?!? I was looking forward to perhaps seeing it for the first time. I guess the Scuderia Spider will make up for that and then some . Maserati Gran Turismo S spotted in the morning at McNicoll & Vic Park.
Who cares..........you can see a Porsche any day of the week at a Starbucks, Movie Theatre, Montana's, Sobey's, or any local neighbourhood parking lot! I can't believe the amount of Porsche Cayennes, and 911's I've seen on the road recently, everyone seems to have one.
Very true that pcar becomes more affordable now from the pre-own market or I should say it is getting cheaper & cheaper. $60K+ for a 996 turbo ... or my 2002 C4Cab now worths almost nothing :-(
For those interested, looks like Autoforum is clearing out a bunch of stuff on e-bay, Ferrari tool kits, manuals for various cars etc...have a look: http://shop.ebay.ca/merchant/autoforum_roman. I'm sure they can wheel and deal.
