[F355 GTS] Thank you for my first Ferrari !

Hi and thank you for my first Ferrari !

I do confess that I’ve been a lurker on FerrariChat for a few years. I was dreaming to own a Ferrari one day and I was putting money on the side to be able to buy one as soon as possible. I‘ve found on this discussion board loads of informations helping me to take the plunge when the time has come. So much informations that I didn’t need to ask a single question. I wanted to be sure, for instance, that the F355 was the right Ferrari for me and to know the maintenance costs involved with such a purchase.

I’m the proud owner of a red/tan F355 GTS since 2008. My dream has come true and I can say that the reality is better than the dream. Thank you to all of you, FerrariChat members, because you have made this possible ! Without all the informations you’re sharing here, maybe I would still be dreaming to own a Ferrari one day.

I live in Paris in France and I’ve found my beautiful F355 at Auto Salon Singen in Germany. Maybe you’ve already heard about that dealer. It seems to be the largest supercars reseller in Europe, and perhaps even in the world.

I’ve already participated in a few events with my new Ferrari. I went to Maranello to visit the factory and to took part in a trackday at the Fiorano Circuit with Ferrari instructors (see pictures below). I’ve participated in a French event called “500 Ferrari against cancer” on the Val de Vienne circuit. At the beginning of the month, I was at a Ferrari meeting with more than 50 Ferrari on the Champs-Elysees in Paris. You can find some pictures of those events on my blog :

If there is any interest, I could write an english version, even if my english is not very good. I’d like to give back all you’ve given to me. I’m far from being an expert on the F355 but maybe I could help here sometimes with my short experience.

That was my first Ferrari and love it. I think the Berlinetta is a great car and will never sell it and it will just remain part of the collection. Soon you will be looking at the Vintage Ferrari`s and then your collection will start.

Does anyone know what model car the black car is that appears at the biggining of the video in his blog right after the station wagnon and before the 350Z, It is parked to the right of the Z or after it and is in the opening scenes...

The black car at the beginning of the video on my blog is a French car from the nineties made by Venturi.
The purpose was to be in the same category as the Porsche 911 but it didn't succeed with its mass-produced Renault motor.
A few years ago they launched the first electrical sport car : the Venturi Fetish

285ferrari, my car is already in the registry : I was so proud to do it as a first thing after my purchase.

When I received the F355, I asked the guys from SwissVax, here in Paris, to do some detailing on it.
