So one might see. 80s headlight technology sucks :D

That wouldn't be too bad without the driving lights in the bumpers. The other mods would be hidden during the day.

I'm absolutely sure this thing was discussed a few years back.

    Dear Ferraristi,

This Thread has come back to life.....just ask Testarob.

We all laughed at the mods untill it was realized that the owner was an fchatter and then was more spin than Fox noise & lies. :D

The mods were ugly and are still ugly....sorry....IMO

I saw that in person about 1 1/2 years ago in Vancouver, BC...........pretty over the top................but hey if you look at all those lights as teeth and the color choice as a shade of lip stick.................it can all be explained by being aware that the owner is.........................a dentist!! Really, he is!!

I bought the wheels that are pictured on the car.................one front and a rear where a slightly bent, come to find out........the seller (the dentist) never mentioned it..............I fixed them and restored them to OEM specs (concourse worthy) for $800. And I am now questioned and accused by the dental community that I am an "Anti-Dentite"!!!! (a Jerry Sienfeld quote)

With some nice 512TR wheels, a really good contrasting tan interior with maroon piping, and detailed to max in and out....I think that this car in the right setting would look very nice indeed. The only real modification is the nose, other than that it's stock TR all the way. I recall close up pics of the paint job and it appeared to be outstanding quality.....very well done. The car may be a bit on the "blingy" side for purists....but before I slam a judgement on it I would like to see it in person. I might be surprised....

Remember that TR in the North East that was the color prugnia? In pics it was....well...not so hot looking. But those who saw it in person say it looked very nice.

In the old days all the Cars were painted with nitro-cellulose lacquer and you could custom order it over the phone. They would make me anything, maroon is a favorite,my first GTC 9679 was maroon.I always had them tint the red with blue and black and yellow only, never brown.Brown maroons look muddy, this Car has a lot of blue in its tint,no brown.

I agree. 512TR wheels is the only add-on that can save this project.

As mentioned in the original thread, the owner of this car is on the board sometimes. Profile shows last activity quite a while ago, but I suppose you could PM/Email him.

PS I like the mod, but its not for everyone. I specifically like the color.
