I see this 308 GT4 being advertised for sale again. http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/FERRARI/DINO/New%20South%20Wales/csn6811628.aspx Does anyone know this car?? Looks to be in NSW?? Does it REALLY have only 10,000 genuine km's on the clock after 31 years? It looks great in those pics, but not too sure on overall condition.
I am still suprised to see this being advertised for sale. The LeMan's blue 355 Spider for $135K. Has come down over $20K in the last few weeks. I never thought I would see a 355 Spider anywhere near $135K for years, but here's proof! Times must be tough, for the seller and for the buyers as no one has bought it yet! It will sell.......at the right price! http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/FERRARI/F355/Victoria/csn6693347.aspx
Hey Kong, did the guys at Supermerc sell that RIDICULOUSLY priced yellow/black 355 did they?? I cant see it advertised on their website. It was there for over 3 years! You live in that area dont you?? Have you seen the car in their yard lately? http://www.supamerc.com/view_make.php
One of my FAVS!! Exact interior I want and the CS stripe too!! Thats the dream..........*sigh* http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/FERRARI/360/New%20South%20Wales/csn6321653.aspx
PAP, It's got Queensland plates The speedo is in miles, the photo shows it's got 10289 miles, about 16 000 k's on clock. Note the speedo only goes to 99 999 miles, (160 000k's) then back to the start. It's got a non original steering wheel and gearshift knob, I doubt anyone trying to sell a car with only 16 000 original k's would present the car like that. M
Very nice 550!! Silver/black 6 speed manual. $189K neg! http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/FERRARI/550/Adelaide/detail.aspx?id=10566841&lid=10566841&pg=3&pp=3&d=0&nv=1&SG=1281444860&pt=1
Possibly - If the car has the vinyl interior, the center section of the seats are Velour cloth, in the photo they appear to be something else, so it was either all leather new, or a retrim. M
Yep, I noticed that. Ah, ok. Cool. Yep, I knew that. Yep, noticed that too. Well, thats the thing. The car looks great in those pics. But how do we really know it only has 16K on the clock?? From the complete service history perhaps? The car has probably been around the clock twice for all we know! But it looks great in those pics, the condition. In person, probably a different story. Also, as long as he has the steering wheel/shift knob and wheels, it could be a good buy for someone. Cheers Mike.
its an adelaide car, an import from UK or honkers, was asking 195k last week...................based on today's values is worth 150k possibly 155k trim is slightly tatty
Perhaps, but GT4's tended to be a car that people used a lot, so there are not many limited use ones around. Still, if it checks out: mechanically OK and body sound, then the K's aren't that important. But I know of a car that has less than 22 000k's, supported by extensive documentation right back to original purchase, 2 previous owners, still with original, as delivered Michelin XWX's which confirm limited use. It has a few stone chips, but no "wear", and certainly has not been altered from new.
Ah, ok. Thanks for that info mate. Not that I can afford to buy it anyways, but it is always good to know a little bit about the car that they normally wouldnt talk about. Lol! Spot on brother!! Cool, cheers mate. It most certainly is! Love them both and would be nice to have them both parked in the garage together. Parked side by side, kinda like father and son!
Hello 'Black Betty'. http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/FERRARI/348/Melbourne/detail.aspx?id=9195588&lid=9195588&pg=8&pp=8&d=0&nv=1&SG=1281444860&pt=1
Seems cheap for a 01 model: http://carsales.com.au/used-cars/dealer/FERRARI/360/details.aspx?R=6771262&Model=360&State=All%20States&__Nne=20&Make=FERRARI&RegionID=&Region=All%20Regions&silo=1000&seot=0&__sid=11F8E6ED5140&state_id=0&__N=4294966380%200%20834%20258%20287%20285%201216%204294966372%20&__Ns=pCar_StatusSort_Int32|1||pCar_Price_Decimal|0&distance=25&Cr=0&trecs=25&__Qpb=true Wonder what the catch is? Im thinking UK or HK car? How much money can you knock off from a dealers price say on this Ferrari? 10k? 20k? I guess its one of those how long is a piece of string type questions
Love this car: http://carsales.com.au/used-cars/dealer/FERRARI/360/details.aspx?R=6728999&Model=360&State=All%20States&__Nne=20&Make=FERRARI&RegionID=&Region=All%20Regions&silo=1000&seot=0&__sid=11F8E6ED5140&state_id=0&__N=4294966380%200%20834%20258%20287%20285%201216%204294966372%20&__Ns=pCar_StatusSort_Int32|1||pCar_Price_Decimal|0&distance=25&Cr=13&trecs=25&__Qpb=true The rims set it off... as Americans would call it: 'Bad Ass'.
Tough question to answer that, but I reckon you could score that car in the mid-high $160K's. Maybe not, may the low $170K's? Looks nice, but I dont like the wheels that much and I am assuming its an import for that price. But I could be wrong. Yeah, great looking car but I wouldnt pay $135K for it either! Yes, very tough looking car! Love the black/red interior combo!
3rd time around the clock and there are a few things that look wrong with the car, like the steering wheel, the wheels, the interior looks rough no way that has ONLY 10k kliks on the clock unless it broke then
Tough looking! Check out the owners lurking in the silver '01 Modena's background, waiting while the pics were taken. Little bimbo and her 'roid raging boyfriend. That silver car is way up market for that lot. Has to be a consignment thing. Both the silver modena and the black spyder look like cars up against the resale red prejudice at a time when its hard to sell. Funny how few get a decent photographer to do the shots.
I drove my GT4 today...the first time in 3 months. After spending a couple of weeks driving the 355 I didn't expect to think all that much of it. I was wrong (for once) and it was quite delightful. The engine is an absolute gem, the steering feels light and communicative and the amount of head room and feeling of space is amazing. Without doubt a very underrated car.
