Loving the new acquisition. The 356 is feeling a little neglected these days but I'm making up for that this weekend.

Can't tell them apart. They're all the same just some have had different bulges added.
Some accelerate really well but they forgot to add handling and driving position back when I was checking them out.
    Now they're just confusing.
Boat sailed and I missed it.

So was my mother in law but wouldn't want her in my garage either.

The Targa Carrera I had went like stink but I'd have to go to school to learn which is which. Let alone value one or tell what's real and what's a replica.

Mind you, a Targa is the "GT4" of Porsches.

That one of mine let go nastily in the rear. It was either sticking or the back end was gone like a switch.
That and the poor ergonomics was an issue for me. Hard to wind on correction to catch it without over correcting.
Eventually I'd correct then let go of the wheel and it'd self center but between that and awkward peddle control I didn't enjoy driving it much beyond a straight line.
    Probably a lot better now.

    Carrera is the good bit.

Trouble with a targa is they lost the flowing roof line with the Targa bar and wrap around rear glass.

A GTS ferrari still has the "shape".

Agree the bar was ugly. Necessary though for when that back end behaviour put you upside down in a ditch.

So you don't know what Carrera really indicates about them either?

    Depending on the year.

Carrera was very good when added to 2.7 or 3.0.

But after the SC's, they called them all Carrera's.

We need WAZ356 to add more detail. :)

Besides, don't want to look like you know TOO much about RENSC's on here. :)

a SC is realy a Carrera 3.0 litre.
best value for money is the 2.7 litre Carrera G series.
