He's a huge part of what the team is today,he earned and demands that respect.
Too bad, I think he still had a couple of good years left in him.

He wouldn't have slept through the championship like Kimi this year...

A lot of what the team is today is based on the contributions of Luca di Montezemolo, Jean Todt and Ross Brawn.

+1. But for someone who was a sleep from March to October, he still managed to just sneak 3rd place in the championship.

I think Ferrari should pick up Vettle as soon as
possible. He seems to have the same drive and
passion as Michael. McLaren has been reported
to have an interest in him.

Agreed, but Schumi brought Brawn - not that the Barnard/Brunner weren't any good (the 412T1/2 is my favorite F1 car all time), but I wonder if Brawn hadn't come, would they have achieved as much as they did?

It was the combined fire power that brought the turn around. Brawn paired with an imbecile of a team manager achieves nothing (see Honda).

Don't forget an almost unlimited budget and a period of time when the top drivers were not on par, i.e. Coulthard, Hill, and Villenueuve.

I love how some claim that Kimi had no motivation, was drunk all the time, basically couldn't drive well at all and was virtually completely to blame for his "poor" season last year. If that's true...which I believe isn't...then that means Kimi can be unmotivated, drunk and hung over and make stupid mistake after stupid mistake all season long, have one of the worst seasons of his career and still come in 3rd place....he's simply that good! :D
Whatever you chose to believe one thing is for certain Ferrari definitely knew what they were doing when they hired Kimi and I for one am so thankful they did! :)

I'd actually rather see Vettel go to McLaren. I doubt it would ever happen though....:)

He'd better go to Ferrari, I've already memorizied the German
national anthem from Michael winning all the time!

I hope and pray Vettel will go to Ferrari instead of McLaren but I will not be disappointed because I think he has great potential with either team. What I see as the deciding factor as to why he will come to Ferrari is his relationship with Michael as it was mentioned on a certain program by someone with insider access that Vettel has Schumi's cell# and has been in constant touch with him over the past 2yr's. This mentoring could be team related or just a German/German respect and guideance. I hope Vettel wins again this year.
