Never seen it around town in Reno. Ebay add states that the car is located in Sacramento, not Reno.

I may know the owner and the car from way back when.

I will however never buy a car on E-bay and certainly not without doing significant dd.
I don't like to make YP into MP.

You have to do the same work on any car no matter where you find out about it... If you have info on the previous owner I would love to talk to him.

I can assure you that the car is in Reno, its only been there for about a year, it was listed by his friend on ebay who owns Ferrparts.com...

The owners name is Raymond Anderson.

I think it might be one of Ed S's old cars.
He is likely in Brazil or New Zealand right now.
Old friend of mine, that and we were running two 333 SP's for Ferrari in World Sports Car in 97.
    Was the motor replaced?

No mention of that but I will ask. Is there a vin # on the engine somewhere that wouldn't match up properly if it had been replaced?

Not sure how Ferrari does its OEM paperwork.
    Someone else here may know.

Engine replacements were interesting at the time.
It literally goes into a pre-formed container to Italy and they send another back.
The process takes about six months. PITA.

On the race cars, when had five engines for two cars, which would run 2,600-2,850 miles like a clock everytime before rebuilding.

The reason I mentioned it, is that are not too many convertibles, that year, that very unique color, that came from Montecito.
Ed had his motor replaced by Ferrari.
