what happened to all the Hummers... I see less and less every year. I know that they had a bad reputation for gas consumption and for getting stuck in indor parkings but I miss seeing all those suped up H2's and H1's...I thought they were the #1 choice winter car for Ferrari owners...maybe in Toronto you have more but here in Montreal, it's a sad case.

The H2 is GMC trash and I'm glad I hardly see them anymore. Fake POS. It's a shame AM General stopped making the H1 :(

well i believe H1's were built up until 2006

There weren't many sold to begin with ... but you see a ton of H2's and H3's out in my area

I wanted to name my sailboat "Hummer", not for the car but for "Hummingbird" because the centerboard winch cable makes a humming sound when cruising at a decent speed...But some of my Anglo friends told me that "Hummer" also has another meaning (-BJ-), so I decided to pass on that name....:)

Had a "REAL" LR (long wheelbase) when I was working in Bangladesh years ago. That thing was unstoppable...rivers, mud, sand, rebar....sent a few rickshaws into the ditches because I wasn't used to LH drive for the first couple of months...

    In Iran I had a 6-cyl. Jeep...what a blast to drive!

    - My son is getting a Wrangler Sahara within the next couple of weeks. He had to return the Infinity FX35 after he got laid off at Nissan and is now getting a "subsidized" Jeep from his new employer...

What's interesting though is that there are few other "I hate XYZ car" websites compared to Hummer ones. And public opinion has always had some "pull"...

They are not even THAT bad in terms of gas consumption. They're the same as any other big-size SUV, but for some reason the H2 has the worst stigma attached to it.

The real tragedy here is that pickup truck drivers skated by with no public outcry. I see plenty of single occupant trucks that match a Hummer in terms of MPG.

Drive whatever makes you happy, period. If people give you **** because of a particular brand you like, know that its nothing more than a combination of ignorance and jealousy.

    NICE rig..

I think they were only sold in Canada in 94 -- and part of 95. As a consequence -- they tend to hold their value amazingly well. I think clean ones (non-butchered) still trade now for their 94-95MSRP in Canada

    Very capable off road machines.

You are correct. They were offered here in Canada in very limited numbers in 94-ish. And yes, they are NOT cheap....but worth every penny :D

From what i've seen, there are some seriously nice examples in BC. I'm sure they feel at home there. ;)

The honest answer is no, but I would love to have an H1! I even like the look of the H2, however they are too common... well at least down here.

They are so cheap now, I was thinking of getting one but only if I could get the personal plate "KYOTO". Its taken, maybe David Suzuki has it.

I love the H1 Wagon ! I had one for about a year and loved every minute of it, If the prices would come down i would love to get my hands on an 06 Alpha Wagon.

I preffer an Escalade over the H2 i think its a much nicer truck inside and out IMO
