Just read an article in this month's FORZA on the 3-seat precursor to the Dino, then found this amazing car at the Simeone Foundation Museum in Philly. Poor lighting and a camera phone, but enjoy anyway!

Incredible car by Pininfarina, one of their classic designs like the P5 and the Dino GT. I just sold the 1/16 model to a friend here on FChat.

I like the 365 P's Italian concept of a seat for the wife and one for the girlfriend on either side of the driver. I believe it was Matra Simca that later copied that idea for a street car.

    Thank you for the photo.

If you want to know more about these cars, do a search on 365P in the "old Ferrarichat.com". We had a thread years ago that really unpacked the differences between the three 365Ps.

There are only two examples, s/n 8971 and 8815.

The box art from post #2 shows 8971 with a very rare feature: webbed wheel spokes (see also attached picture). It seems they were only used for a few auto shows in the US.

One was owned for a while by Bud Keeney in Southern California. The other was/still is owned by Lou Chinnetti.

Was one of these cars not owned for a time by Gianni Angelli?

Yes, that was s/n 8815. The one with the big rear spoiler.

Would someone be so kind and give me access to some 365P photos in higher quality?
I´m very short before finishing a Dino book and I have nearly no photos about this important part of the Dino history.
The pictures must be taken by yourself, so that I have the permission from the maker to use them.
    Thanks.
