That's funny. I was out for a drive and stopped to visit my friend Nick at his dealership. I didn't even realise people had stopped and snapped a shot.

Nick is an awesome guy! I went in there to check out his shop and ended up talking to him about life for a while. He gave me some great advice for the future and has a very impressive selection. Unfortunately, I couldn't go into the shop to check out what was in there, but hopefully someday! I wish I had known that P 4/5 was there that day I would have shot right over to see it!

The final test was to confirm that the passenger compartment was only compromised 1.5 inches when the car was flipped onto it's roof. I was happy that it passed that one.

Jim, I was wondering with all the attention regarding P4/5, if any of the movie companies have approached you for a cameo appearance of the car in a film.

    Best,
    Tony

The makers did not put it in there. This was a user-produced modification of the game. Someone, outside of Rockstar, modeled the P4/5 and implemented it into the game.

    Just to clarify.

Apparently someone on this forum is that person.

Going by the name 'Scuderia Ferrari™' on this forum for Need For Speed (video game) they said:
    http://www.nfscars.net/file/view/hotpursuit2/6565.aspx

    User 'xpaulx' then requested:
An email or pm may have taken place and the 3d model specifications exchanged. Or user xpaulx just stole the model and converted it himself.

He of all people should know you can't easily fit a full sized shot gun into P 4/5. A MAC 10 or a sawed off would fit better IMO.

    I worded that weird. Sorry.

The person who most likely converted the model into 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' is user 'xpaulx' NOT user 'Scuderia Ferrari™.' Further searching reveals he (xpaulx) lives in the United Kingdom, 23-25 years of age, has a small interest in hacking (mainly multiplayer games), and currently works for Sony in London, England in their marketing division while pursuing a bachelor's degree.

I draw the conclusion that it was 'xpaulx' based upon his comment made on 2/16/2007 (on NFScars.net) and the YouTube video being posted on 12/24/2007. His comment is the earliest, and only that I can find, to specifically mention your vehicle being in the video game 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' for the PC.

The guy didn't do a horrible job rendering the car though.

Jim, just thinking about this today at the sound of a ticking Vee-Dub engine; what is the biggest problem, of any kind, you have encountered with P4/5 ?
