I could so hear Jeremy Clarkson saying that.

Because they didn't have enough drag from all the other little appendages and giant air-catching wheel wells.

Most of you guys will probably hate my Ferrari inspired car, but you have to crawl before you can walk.. When and if the economy ever gets better I will be looking to get a 355 since they have come down in price to a point I am more comfortable with..

Here is a link to a few pictures and a couple videos of my newer car, and pictures of the 308 replica I just sold.. http://s369.photobucket.com/albums/oo133/KoenigFerrari/

First off, thanks for finding this pic. I was about to go on a quest to find my old post. It is the same car. Look at the plates.

On occasion I have felt the Italian government going a bit overboard against the people who made replicas. But seeing that pos I can see their point. Its pretty difficult to pick favorites and have it hold up in court, better to just put all the replica people out of business than trying to pick and choose. That is clearly the worst I have seen, what an insult.

Check the stimulus package, it might be in there somewhere.

Note to brain: remind self "to each his own"
Brain's reply: "yeah, but this goes beyond 'to each his own'"

The Fiero might not be the 'best' car ever made, but it certainly deserves more respect as bone-stock than as a really, really, really bad impersonation of an F-car

    Touché.

My lake neighbor once had a fiero. When I first brought the 328 to that house he compared it to his fiero in terms of 'sports car character' and handling  I was like, yeah well, I gotta go...

Its to bad the Gubment doesnt care about quality so long as it doesnt impact safety, or that a car that suddenly stalls in the middle of traffic doesnt suffer from a safety related defect. The later cars were better I guess, but first Fieros were absolute bonified junk. They came much closer to being the worst cars ever made, than being anywhere near the best. A Pinto was a better car.
