I love the Si, incredible car...I used to want one but then realized it was a pipe dream. The 5s does it for me as I am totally in love with the vulgarity of the thing.
A couple more of the beautiful Si that I missed!!! Also a link to a video of the new owner of the RHD Si that I was trying to acquire before he beat me to it. http://revver.com/video/1004391/1991-detomaso-pantera-si-coupe-wwwcarsofaustraliacomau/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i like the GT5-GT5S more i have seen a red one in Italy and it did not look SO nice imo the silver one looks very good though: i remember thinking about it when i saw the ad how much is one of these? 100k euro? or more?
The white RHD Aussie car sold for just over 100k Euro based on the exchange rate at the time. But it is one of only two RHD cars. I would put the price of a good Si at about 70 to 85k Euro. Maybe the current tough economic times may change this.
at 75 would be a cool car for the money imo i am not the BIGGEST fan of SI but they are very rare and looks good in some color the light blue targa i had seen in a magazine was a great lookinng one ( i know much more expensive )
Bounty, if your still looking for one, this one's for sale in northern Minnesota. 418 CI Windsor stroker. 426 RWHP & 425 RWTQ. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am with you, that car looks damn nice! not the biggest fan of those wheels, but EVERYTHING else looks GREAT!
steveirl...you know how i feel about your panther...it is a bad azz lady not afraid to lift her skirt at a moments notice!!! the problem i have with many panteras however is that the owners seem to opt for the wrong mirors!!! they look awkward if they are not period correct. if you cannot stand the factory mirors...get a ray dot as it at least looks cool. pcb
Panteras didn't come with factory mirrors. Dealers installed what ever they chose which usually meant from the Mustang stock.
My last post on this thread was a reply to a post by joe sackey showing a beautiful low mileage yellow pantera. It is now gone? WTF?
I like the Si.....but I find that it looks like a Venturi Atlantique. I'd love to have a Venturi. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw a Pantera shell in a backyard of a house across from the Kailua YMCA on Oahu. Looked like it's been there quite awhile.
that's why I said 'nearly' all the time...lol, sounds interesting, seeing a Pantera out in the wild is always an event, they are rarer and rarer and just look so great, design wise, amongst EVERYTHING else out there!
