The Windgate Ranch Festival of Speed is a charity automobile show benefiting the 100 Club of Arizona, whose mission is to provide financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line-of-duty, and to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare. Supported by members of The Scottsdale Exotic Car Club and Scuderia Southwest and held at the spectacular Windgate Ranch in north Scottsdale, the Festival of Speed will showcase some of the greatest sports cars, racecars, and classics from around the world. Organized as a fun, low key, family friendly event to benefit our community, all donations, entry and sponsorship fees will be paid directly to the 100 Club of Arizona.
This is going to be an exciting event. I got the pleasure of cruising up with a few of the guys to check out the location and all I can say WOW! The plush grass parking along with the architecture in the backround is going to be heaven for photographers. This is going to be a great event benefitting a great charity. I can't wait!
Hey, nice photo! I'm very much looking forward to this event, as you know, Steve. I'm especially excited given who is putting it together and the nature of the event. Should be a good time and like John said, it should be great for photos. In addition to the area itself and the architecture, the area surrounding the grass being elevated like it is should allow for photos you normally wouldn't be able to get at such an event.
Just a guess - the books will be open to all participants and ALL the money collected will go the 100 Club?
Wow! This event looks dreamy! I wish you an incredible amount of success. I'll spread the word for everyone to come and support you and your cause!
You will have to know the secret handshake, pass inspection, look through allot of smoke and mirrors...... and then maybe, just maybe you will get a peek! Oh wait....... I am sorry, I was thinking of something else! Everyone gets to know the accounting here.
I have heard that there are going to be some very special cars from some very special collections present. I wonder who and what.
Event is open to all special, exotic, hot rods, muscle cars etc.. Car placement on the lawn starts at 8AM and show starts at 9AM. Entry fee for vehicles is a $25 donation made payable to the 100 Club Of Arizona ( have check in hand made out when entering show to speed things up). Complimentary lunch courtesy of Toll Brothers to all participants wearing a wrist band. Which you get when you enter the show. Others can purchase from vendor. FREE to all spectators to enter. Music through out. Interested in being a vendor contact Terry, Joe or myself. Very resonable and just requires a small donation to the 100 Club. There will be special police vehicles and a fire truck for kids. Also a nice park for kids adjacent to the lawn where the show is. Again this is a event that 100% monies go to charity. All checks will be made to the 100 Club Of Arizona. If some people want to dontate more than the amount required please feel free to do so. Will be greatly appreciated
Ooooh... My wife and I are coming down to Scottsdale this weekend for a getaway to the sun. Might have to find this place, anyone know how far away this is from the InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley? Thanks! Brian

If your staying for this weekend only then you should come out to cars and coffee on saturday morning.
Lake Tapps! Just reminded me of home. Grew up in Puyallup Hope you enjoy your time down in AZ. Marcus
We get there the 27th and assuming my work emergency doesn't follow me on vacation we should be looking forward to driving around a bit.
Small world Marcus!! I see from the website you're a Griot's fan too. I go to the Fife store all the time and see Richard. Those who don't know Pierce County wouldn't we lived in a close knit area and probably crossed paths a few times. Brian
