Facebook is great for people who left their friends a thousand miles away. It is one thing to get them on the phone, but it's awesome to see their pictures and what they have been up to.

Me too. Plus, people are more real on facebook, as in they use their real name, have a real profile, and you have real friends on there. I haven't yet gotten a message that says something like "hey babi u r hot sexi thing wanna chat wuts up" or some other ignorant text-speak garbage. I get them on a daily basis on MySpace even though I specifically put in my profile I'm not looking for guys.

I keep getting weird and random friend requests on Facebook though. Like people in Norway and Turkey and so on.
It's kind of awkward.

Just opened a new group on Facebook. Thomas Hobbs Photography. I'd be happy to have some support on it. I'm going to add many different types of portfolio work to it and discuss what, why, how, etc. to anybody who asks. I want to make it a learning environment.

 

I'm back on Facebook after dumping it for a year. Holy crap! What's with all of the ads and enter you cell number here and...... My wife found some long lost friends though and the quizzes are still fun!
