Scuderia looks stunning!
Quite frankly I was hoping that he was going to order the gold wheels and stripe. I wanted to see that configuration in person.
That would look interesting, just as long as it had both gold stripes and gold wheels. . . . But I like how the grey stripes match up with the interior on his car. The combination is coordinated nicely, and looks good in person.
Hmmm Interesting. Thank you very much. Do you know if it is going to be touring or anything similar to what Nissan did with the 370Z and the "Follow the Nissan Z" event or is that it? Because I understand manufactures taking cars to the likes of Colorado for high altitude testing but I don't really see the significance of San Antonio
...at this afternoon's alamo city british car club meeting, i met up with representatives from the local austin-healey, jaguar, MG, sunbeam, and triumph groups, and was told that there are several TVRs in town but that they're seldom seen - has anyone here spotted a stateside TVR in san antonio?.. ...we managed a few fun pictures of a beautiful austin-healey 100 flanked by a pair of elises, and funnily enough, from some angles the 100 looked particularly large by comparison, while from others the elises looked rather stately, themselves...we'd hoped to get the vanquish in the picture, too, for a proper sense of scale, but sadly it wouldn't start due to electrical gremlins... ...completely unrelated, we spied a bright red E-type coupe resplendent with gleaming chromework along huebner and northwest military a few hours later; nicely sonorous engine note...
The spoiler was the second thing that caught my attention, then i saw the black "side stripe" on the vehicle. It could easily have be an after market spoiler and a vinyl graphic on the side. But for all practical purposes it appeared to be a Superleggera.
Silver Ford Gt on 1604 and I-10, Dark Grey/Black Maserati Quattroporte and Silver Bentley Continental at La Cantera today.
They would have to at least pay for my gas to drive to San Antonio and I really doubt they would want to. Most dealerships aren't interested in paying someone for photos. Maybe I'll volunteer to photograph some of their cars the next time I'm there and they can decide if they like my photos better than their own.
red 430 w/ shields on 281 N earlier today. black maserati around embassy oak on monday. edit: after taking a look at that scuderia i'm sure that is what I saw. the fact it didn't have the stripes through me off, but the rear diffuser stood out to me.
Challenge grilles became an option for 2008 and newer F430's. Did you happen to notice what the wheels looked like? There was one at FoSA a few months ago with the challenge grille option, and BBS Challenge (Stradale) optional wheels. I just can't seem to find any pictures at the moment. . . . But here's a comparison between an optioned F430 and a 430 Scuderia. Notice the completely different diffusers and tail pipe positioning. Picture taken while in Houston. . . . Today I was out ridding along with my uncle in his Viper GTS. As we were coming down the road and about to turn onto Blanco, I saw an arancio borealis (orange) Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder heading out way down Blanco which happened to be the way we were going. By the time we turned onto Blanco there were about 5 cars in between the Gallardo and us. The Gallardo could barely be seen far in the distance. We drove on another couple of miles and after four of the cars had turned off; we saw an opening and passed the final slow mover in between us. We continued on to stealthily chase down the Gallardo, until they finally turned off. After that we came back around to take a quick look at the beauty. Props to the owner to for being out and driving on a nice day! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
