Would any of you know of any public places open that would be showing the F1 races? The morning ones in particular.
I used to ocassionally go to Continental but since I'm not a customer felt a bit of a freeloader so haven't gone in years.
My wife won't get up and the dog(Bella Ferrari) will only get up with me long enough to be fed then head back to bed, so much for canine tifosi.
I'll even endure fans of non red cars.

    Hello,

Lake Forest Sportscars website lists a F1 viewing party 03/29/09. Is this still in the works?

what would you guys think of a "live" showing. 1:00 am showing? I think it would be cool, but less turnout. Good way to open the season up!

i dont think we have enough cots though...let me know what you think.

I think you would get less turnout and I know a big part of the fun at the last one last year was looking at all the cars that showed up. Not sure what the weather will be like for that this early in the year so not sure if that will be a factor. I do think it'd be a lot of fun but could be a very small turnout.

One practical point in my opinion: It isn't a good time to be driving home - Early Sunday morning with cops looking for meat.

I dont mind the time. But as you said, less people and the reason im going to the f1 party is to meet new people.

And yes, driving around that time is asking for a ticket :(

1:00am is eastern time. Melbourne [Acura] pre-race is always @ 11:30pm central with the start @ midnight. Still too late, but just a FYI

I know that there will also be a group getting together at Chicago Indoor Racing in Addison to run some arrive and drives and then watch the race. I hear that they will keep the restaurant open until the race starts and the bar will remain open until the race ends.
