I think there are as many as 4 or 5 Eu cars, and only one of these, of course!

The market has already softened on everything...

This particular article seems to rate the F50 highly among all 4.

I'd be happy with an F50 and a Daytona.

Don't think so? I did sell one new with a somewhat similar registration, 2DF, which later became F500NLY, sold onwards again to Japan via a German dealer called Reiner Kux. That was ZFFTA46B000104772.

I just sold ZFFTA46B107140 via German dealer Axel Urban, car on the way to Taiwan. Took a while but I was happy with the price.

Correction: 2DF was already a used car when I first sold it, I think Maranellos delivered it new.

It is what sparked my love for Ferraris and cars in general for that matter, so many years back. I have been privileged enough to see a few of them over the years and they are incredible every time.

Are you saying there are more that 2 black USA F50s that were originally finished that way by the factory (not a repaint), resident in the States?

Im also interested in how many yellow USA F50s were built...

In the F50's case I have to say I prefer the look of the US cars. I like the way the side-marker lights are integreated, instead of the round light. Also, the amber lights I find cool, along with the deeper front spoiler lips which almost remind me of the front on a Stradale instead of the Euro car which reminds me of the front on a 360. Just simply my 2 cents. Please post more pictures!

Erik I think we are used to the sight & spec of the USA cars and grow to like them for the limited production series that they are.

How many had the hardtop from new? And how many have it now?

I personally think it looks better with it, much much better.

Every road car came with the hardtop standard, and the box is a pretty impressive sight. I am sure at some point Joe or someone else will post pics. I might have some on my other computer of the box.

I can't comment on the originality of the colours but there are at least 3 black F50's and at least 3 yellow F50's in the US (at least 2 originally yellow)

All. It comes with the car. I have a pic of the box it comes in on my hard drive at home

Affectionately referred to as the "Circus Box" it houses the hard-top roof for transportation and I will post some pics when I can get to it...

Always hard to track these things, but we try regardless... how do we know one didn't get painted black last week!

My understanding is that there were just 2 of the USA spec cars that arrived from the factory in black. Either way, Nero suits the F50 to the ground...
