more of the yellow one...met a very nice couple at FCA in '07 that owned the ex Ralph Lauren yellow F50....very classy couple and enthusiastic to the core. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Marcel Massini published a very nice 4 part series on the F50 in the Ferrari Market Letter in 2000. It is Volume 25 issue 6,7,8,9....very encompassing and well worth the read.
23 Giallo F50's ? correct or incorrect ? seems like a lot considering there are 3 that I know of in the USA.
Netiquette...hehe. Proper netiquette starts with the poster's pinky fingers at or as near vertical as possible...see tea sipping etiquette for proper placement of pinkies; this placement is to be used whilst typing on internet forums so as not to ruffle the lace collars, white powdered wigs and hand-knit doilies of the locals. It's also considered excellent netiquette to use the words "I dare say", "I do say", "My dear chap" and "Would you like some tea?" or "Would you like a spot of tea?". Netiquette demands certain rituals that must be adhered to at all times. To wit: "I dare say, dear chap, that you could use a spot of tea, if I do say so myself, so as to placate your aggrieved nerves in such a way that we can arrive at a common conclusion as gentlemen do; and I dare say we are both men of gentle nature and uncommon of educational achievements insofar as we can see past the menial mental trappings of merely mortal men...not we as commoners and thus can see eye to eye ... would you like a crumpet, my dear sir?"
I think that there are 33 in the "official" production run; but no doubt there are more in the other 40 or so S/N's.
When they bought it it was a yellow street car. They took it back to Mc Laren who made a lot of modifications including changing the color, interior, and installing many LM mods. NNO hosted a Video about it.
Awesome. BTW, look at this F50 with colored headlight buckets. Interesting, eh? Image Unavailable, Please Login

That's what I have; two US yellow F50s (although I know that there are three) and 21 others that are yellow, around the world. A great car - 95592 is, indeed, the second F50 prototype. But the twist is that it was built on a Mondial platform. So that explains the confusion.
The following post from Scott's (360C) comprehensive F50 thread illustrates all of the bits and pieces that came with a new F50...complete with pics. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136250668&postcount=141 If you want an idea of what is involved in fanatically refreshening an F50, installing tubi headers/exhaust, refinishing carbon fiber bits, along with some aussie banter, I refer you once again to a thread I call "The F50 guts" http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127114
