Yes, the 3/4 frontal shot really shows the sleek jet-like design with no wings or spoilers. The 3/4 rear shot is similar...

Definitely...! That car is so hot... How many times have you slept with it in the garage...? :)

Me and my wife downed a few wine bottles in the garage, but I'm not sure she's up to me, her or both sleeping with it.

Just remember, it is okay to sleep with your cars, just don't "sleep" with your cars! :)

    Seriously, fantastic car, enjoy!

Yes, otherwise it wouldn't be here! She loves driving the CGT and hasn't tried the Enzo yet.

But she says we don't need a Stradale with an Enzo. We may differ on that point.

Excellent pictures! (Especially the ones with the Lotuses involved.) ;)

You look like you will enjoy the Enzo as it was meant to be enjoyed.

I remember when I heard an Enzo fired up for the first time. The experience is priceless.

    Congratulations!

Bill, thanks for continuing to share these pictures/experiences with us. I'm sure there are many more observers to such threads that somewhat enjoy living vicariously through visual aids. Not every Enzo owner would take the time and trouble to do such...It is appreciated and very very cool! :) Cheers, Josh

Bill, congrats on acquiring the Enzo!

Are you going to put straight pipes on it (Inconel from Tubi?)?? That would make it sound incredible!!

    Enjoy it in good health!

The clear bra installation pics are interesting.....the close up of the nose looks like there is no clear bra......is there a clear bra on it in that picture??? I'd be curious to know what material it is if it lays down so transparent. This would be
great to know for owners of black cars....

Congratulations on the purchase. It looks beautiful. If you were around San Jose, I would bug you to no extent to give me a ride, since the fastest car I've ever been in was an FFR Cobra replica with a 347 stroker. It was an awesome ride, but the ride quality must be worlds different in a car like the Enzo. ;)

Enjoy the acquisition, and don't fear mileage.

The acceleration over 100 mph feels like a jet taking off. It continues to pull stonger and stonger. I got scared with the strong pull at 160 and backed off! I think it only takes about 17 seconds to go from 100 to 180. That's nearly 10 seconds faster than a CGT.

The nose is covered. The film is VentureShield, a company who originally made their own film and then was purchased by 3M. This is the clearest and most durable film out there now. The only disadvantage is the film surface is soft and can be damaged by certain bird droppings and bugs. Then it needs to be repaired with a heat gun. A wax coating minimizes that. I have it on a black car and it looks just as good. The installer is very important. I recommend Premier Protective Films in CA to ensure no cuts on the paint, no stretch marks, wrapped edges, and no lifting. In my opinion, film maintenance is small compared to the piece-of-mind you have driving the car with little worry about paint damage. You can always remove and replace the film when it gets too bad to repair.

Thank's Elliot. Let me know the next time you guys are on the track or at an airport. I'm trying to find something to test the cars in Southern CA like an airport runway.

No, I decided to buy a well cared-for car that was as close to original as possible, regardless of miles.

I like the look of the circular gauges, but I seem to interpret the small needles in the horizontal bar gauges faster, probably because that display is less busy (see below). I'm just not sure how to keep the horizontal bar gauges on since they seem to time-out to the circular gauges.

    See owners manual.

Basically you toggle through the menus and set the screen you want. You can also adjust brightness, MPH/KPH, clock etc. etc.

The bars are default screen if you have a fault such as faulty tire sensor or other fault. This will also show up as a permanently lit last LED on steering wheel. Even if set to analogue screen it will revert to bars if it senses a fault. If you drive in very low outside temperatures "Ice Alert" the screen also reverts to bars with a big snow flake.

    Best

    wow, where do I start.

I guess with, Great pics. I love to see an enzo in motion.

Next, awesome detail on the drivng/ownership experience. you really dont hear that stuff enough.

and I guess last, in regards to the reaction to the sound, I get an uncontrolable smile every time I hear a Ferrari start up, and the Enzo is the exclamation of that. If I had one, I cant say I wouldnt sleep with it. In both ways... ;)
