Someone who wants a great deal on a car to drive. The type of person who sees a car as a toy, not an investment.

The problem is that so far he's wanted too much for the car.

 

The car sold once on eBay for about $1.1 mil but the deal never went through.

If you look closely at the photos (at least the ones that were on the 1st eBay ad) you will see how poorly done some of the inner paneling work is.

 

The same person that uses e-bay to set the market price for all Ferraris.....

WTF. I cant believe the seller would make such a claim. Does the seller work for CNBC? Might as well be selling snake oil.

 

A car like that needs to be shiped back to Ferrari or redone by a Ferrari dealership repair center to get the better asking price. You can repair these cars like new again it just depends on who does it.

 

Just read thru the thread above (skimmed the flaming posts), my only reply about this car is how much did the enzo get sold for BEFORE it was fixed. On the ebay ad, $91k is high for a "normal" car, but for an enzo, seems pretty low costs. I'm guessing $300k in the car and $91k for a "backyard" fix (good or not) puts the total in at about $400k. Of course, I could be wrong, I'm just speculating, but still, seems like the seller is looking to "clean up" on his investment.

Rightly priced, this would be an excellent driver, but of course, the "hidden" damage would be something I personally would be worried about driving at any high speeds.

Of course, I'll never be able to afford one, wrecked or no, so i'll sit by and drool.

Granted this was ideal timing, I would buy and drive home in a heartbeat. Hidden damage is one thing but I wouldn't claim this car has truly seen damage, like the Malibu wreck.

You have the potential to afford this car, just like myself, and the next guy. It's not that you aren't deserving either. Limiting beliefs will be the #1 reason you don't reach Enzo ownership, but it's never too late. Replace those old habits and it's just a matter of when....
