I'm sure this has been explained already, but how come that yellow drophead is always out there?

Bijan always has always parked his yellow (du jour) car out front of his store. It's there every day.

That Vector looks more brutal now than it did in the 80's! :(

Thanks for the info, I looked him up on Wiki, pretty interesting and if Wiki is accurate he has a nice collection of cars. I guess when you are known to have "the most expensive store in the world" you can do that :)

It was a sight [and sound] to behold. It also appeared to have some aftermarket ground effects underneath the nose - maybe I've just never notice it on darker cars, but it looked track-ready. Blacked out aftermarket wheels - race-looking ones, not bling.

Today - azzuro aquarius Gallardo Spyder (their version of grigio alloy) up and down State St. in Santa Barbara. Black Panamera with GA Distributor plates in Marina.

I drove by there the other day and saw it in the window. Ugh. AFAIK it was built by Audi racing engineers, so I'm sure it drives very well (perhaps with the numb Audi throttle), but visually it is not appealing.

Just got back from a weekend in Beverly Hills. We stayed at the Montage (very nice) Aside from every other car being a Bentley I saw 4 612's 3 black and 1 silver, a black 599, dark gray 430, 2 black 360's and 1 silver 360, 2 R8's a ton of AM's and RR's.

Now can anyone tell me why 90% of the cars (at least in Beverly Hills) have NO plates? Only one of the Ferrari's listed above had a plate (silver 360) neither of the R8's, only 1 of the AM's and hardley any of the Bentley's or RR's? Is everyone driving a new car? And I thought we were in a recession...;)

Something I have always wanted answered as well. If you didnt notice its not just the exotics, its your everyday S-Class sometimes too. Although majority are high-end or exotic cars. I have been there on several occasions and still take notice every time. Anybody answer this?

    Thanks!
    Chris
