    First timer going to Indy this year. We are well hooked up for seats and paddock access etc. Where should we go (4 guys) after the race on sunday? Are there decent partys after? If not, where do you suggest we head for?

    If you like steak, get your reservation in for St Elmo's Steakhouse. You usually see drivers and what-not there race weekend. Shrimp cocktail is a must for trial by fire, or actually trial by horseradish!

    Lots of bars and restaurants in downtown Indy. Easy walking to from the downtown hotels.

    Where are your seats? Ours just arrived in teh mail last week. Always one of the happiest moments of the year when they show up.

    I can't comment on the race, but that is spot on for St. Elmos. It is a must and the shrimp cocktail is the most delicious kick in the mouth I've ever tasted.

    I received the opportunity to smell the freshly ground horseradish once.... let's just say I couldn't smell anything for about a week!
