Think I'll start posting about every dual coke-can ricer and hot Mustang I see (either genre could suck the doors off my GTS QV :()

Wow, a Callaway is just a hot rod vette? thought that's what the Z06 and ZR1 were. Guess exclusivity and rarity doesn't matter much...I'm not the only one here that enjoys seeing something like that, which is why the forum was changed from Ferrari to Ferrari and Exotic spotters... Enjoy the fact that we are all enthusiasts here, we are all Ferrari guys (mostly). Not all of us enjoy the same cars, but we can all appreciate them being on the road...

    Inappropriate-but-fun post:

Early this PM, got my lights near sucked-out by another old geezer on a new hotrod Harley..he looked over, saw my car, and made a point of blowing me off.

Yeah, if a Callaway isn't an exotic at a price over $100k and a production run of less than 10 so far, then I dunno what is an exotic! This one was for sale used at Straight Line Automotive. Not sure if it's still there.

2 Maseratis last night. A black Cambiocorsa coupe passing me on on Horne near Greenway & a goldish-tan Quattroporte parked in front of Boomerjacks at Montgomery Plaza.

I'm glad they found a buyer. Callaway cars are hit or miss on the used car market. RUF seemed to have the white C12 FOREVER, and Callaway ended up buying it back. Another place in town had a Callaway SuperNatural 450 (C4 Corvette with 450 hp 383 cu inch LT1), and I'm not sure where it ended up. It must have sold.

I try to go check out any and all Callaways that come up for sale in this area. It's fun to see them, and hear them.

I've Trade in my 348 Spider with another car from Straight Line Automotive Last November, they had this Callaway for about 6 months before found a Buyer. Very Tough Market ~

There's supposed to be a Callaway Camaro (no Callaway body) around town I'm dying to see. Supposedly it's in NW Dallas area, maybe Flower Mound or Lewisville. It's purple and has a decal on the back that says SuperNatural 435 I think. It'll just look like a regular '94 Camaro Z28 other than that. Dying for pics though... It's 1/1 in purple. And I'm a Callaway nut.

Definitely not an exotic, so back to the exotic discussion...

Agree with Brangeta, love the Callaways. They are definitely exotic but can be a tough sell. Pick up a copy of the latest issue of Keith Martin's Corvette Market. The cover story is about Otis Chandler's Callaway C12, sold two years ago for $120K and was re-sold in January in Scottsdale for $57K (!!!!).

Yellow Diablo roadster eastbound at Preston and Legacy today at 6:30pm-ish. A few hundred yards behind it was a yellow Gallardo.

Silver mid-90's Lotus Elan on Clifford this afternoon in West FW. Pretty rare.. got me to thinking about the cars from the 80's and 90's that we don't see much anymore..

QFT. I mean... I drove an '89 Espirt as a daily driver back in my crazy years, from 93 to 98, and in that entire time I only saw 3 Elans and 3 other Esprits on the road that were at (or within a few blocks on a test drive from) Overseas motors. Since I've been back in the US, I don't think I could count the number of Maserati and Aston Martin sightings, but Ferraris and Lamborghinis? Maybe 2 or 3 of each, and that's over a 2 year period. I guess I'm just not getting out enough. ><

I don't think I've ever seen a '90s Lotus Elan on the streets. I'm still waiting to one day see an '80s TVR wedge.

I saw a RR Drophead Coupe... Willow Lane and Preston today at about 11:30.
I also saw a Bentley Continental GTC... Preston and Beltline at about 3.

    Not a bad day.

    Before I forget yesterday's sightings:
Anthracite LP-560 still with its paper tags - edge of SMU, spotted while having a real char-broiled gurger at Goff's.
Dark Ruby (?) Gallardo Spider on Oak lawn, just East of Lemmon. Had the top down like he should have on such a beautiful day.

Been out of town but on last Saturday:
    red Lotus Elise
    2 dark blue Quattroporte's
    3 Bentley GT's/GTC's
    dark grey Ferrari F430 Spider
That's all I remember, got pics of all but don't feel like posting them.

Then Wednesday, on my way back from Houston, there was a Delorean running around near the Ennis drive-in movies. Got a pic... of the top half lol, it was too low. All throughout Houston I only saw a DB9 and Viper.

Then yesterday, this was parked near Centerville and NW Pkwy. in Garland. I'm pretty sure it works there.
