There are several threads that discuss this... From what I hear it's the folks at Ferrari keeping it from being licensed or something, I'm not sure on the specifics, but James has said he isn't the hold up on it.

It will happen sooner or later, but I'm sure Jim has lots of paperwork and trademark stuff to go through before anyone can make a toy that resembles his car.

    Guys

For the last time. The hang up is not me. The IP issues are complex but could be worked out but every time it gets close it gets
sent on to someone else at Ferrari and goes into the Twlight Zone where it's currently stuck. Send your complaints on this matter on to Ferrari. Perhaps that will help.

    :)

If the car was built without logos what could Ferrari really say about it at that point?
I bet in a few months time we could find a trans kit on ebay anyways.

I do wanna say thanks to Jim for being VERY clear on this. A lot of people would love to see it happen.

I for one would love to have a 1:18 of Jims P4/5. But, I'll wait 'til it hits before I worry about having it.
