I rode my Tamburini down to the local HD dealer. Nobody was even interested in what motorcycles the HD company bought and now owned....or at least not enough to even walk out and look. And there wasn't one customer inside......

But when I rolled in there with the 550, they all came out to look at it. Funny how those things work....

    Funny is right!
I get it even worse at my local HD store.
No one bats an eye at the 355, and even better, when I show up on the MV, one guy was offended enough to say "why'd you ride up on that Jap-crap rice burner*?"
I was going to correct him, but then realized it wasn't worth the effort. Got to love Pennsyl-tucky!

    * for the record, I've owned and loved 4 Japanese sportbikes

working on the R1 tonight. Doing a static balance on the front tire; there is a slight vibration around 55 MPH and I think it's related to the front wheel/tire being out of balance. If I pull the front tire off the ground going 70 or 80, there is also a bad head slap.

So many good looking bikes to choose from these days. But the 2004-2005 Suzuki GSX-R 750 has always been one of my favorites

    Example, not my bike

RayJohns, are you coming down hard on the front wheel from wheelies? You could be leaking fork fluid from a broken seal ...

MV Agusta is my dream bike hands down. However, we can't import them into Canada unless you do a ubuild thing.

So, as I wait for them to be importable I have the best looking Japanese bike IMHO.

The 06 R1 Euro SP, less than 20 in Canada. None in the US, they got the Yellow LE version.

I agree. Those R6's (and R1's) are the best looking japanese bikes!
