I fly into Narita several times a year and most of the time, the winds are really bad there. I personally hate landing at that airport.

My sympathy goes out for the crew and their families.

GAD ! I have never seen such a day for bad incidents. The crash at Tokyo is sickening and I'm torn between pilot error and a micro burst or a rogue gust. They said there were high winds. It appears that the airplane tried to fly after a hard bounce and the pilot shoved things forward to get on the runway again and it came apart after a hard impact. . Then not an hour later there was the crash in Butte of a Pilatus PC-12 with what sounded like an over loaded airplane with an inflight problem and a stall on approach Seventeen people on an eight passenger airplane?? Freaky that I had just viewed a You Tube thing where a De Havilland Mosquito crashed during an airshow where the pilot made a lazy pull up to the right after a fly-by and let the airplane stall. Left wing high, nose up, and airspeed low. It fell off and entered a spin that was stopped but the airplane flopped nose down and went in.I kept yelling " Right rudder, power up number one , a little left aileron, and get the nose down." But he just let it flop into an uncontrolled descent. Even though my flying days are long over I'm still " up there", I guess. It's tough to see a pilot fail to get it together but, then, I have also been there and have been lucky enough to get out of it. I would really like to know what happened in the Tokyo crash. That's a tough one to watch.
