ouch definitely repairable .. the rear wheel looks a little sad .. I bet it will be a bigger fix than first meets the eye.

Completely repairable, keep in mind that any damage in the front or rear is corrected with new subframes or suspension pieces. As for the underside its sitting on the tire barrier and given that the bottom is a fairly thick cf laminate, it hardly looks worrisome.

Yes, I do know what I'm talking about, my side project:

Bugger :( - but hopefully the owner was having a blast prior to the off.

A carbon fibre chassis doesn't bend.

Poor car, but nobody was hurt, this is the most important!

In the latest picture we can see the passenger person filming, would be quiet interesting to watch out this accident.. :)

Great pics & thanks for sharing them. I think it's interesting to see the amount of body roll the different cars have on the same left turn .. some look rock solid whilst some others look like they're about the roll over (e.g. Maser 4200). Makes me want to go tracking!

arthobald, in the first pic, it almost looks like a cross bar of a roll cage behind the passenger, but it's not visible in the second pic. Was this just something outside the car, visible thru the rear window, or does the car indeed have a roll bar of some sort ? Maybe I'm just seeing the right edge of the engine cover...

And yes, at least no one was hurt, if you want to look at the bright side....

Hey !!! .... how come no one is calling this guy a jackass, idiot or he shouldn't be behind the wheel of an Enzo if he doesn't know how to drive one? Did everyone all of a sudden find a soft spot for people who crash Enzos ?

    Just asking

    ;)

The photos are supposedly taken minutes apart. I don't doubt that because it takes a while to stop the car and take off/ put on your helmets - even if you do have carbon fiber brakes :)

I suspect that at minimum some wet sanding will be involved.

At least the guy uses it and was having fun, unfortunately it caught him out which can happen to most.

The loss is always fixable if he's sorted his insurance so no real harm done, just miss a toy for while.

Fellow was out on a track, both had helmets, having a good time and just lost it...no shame in that, just bad luck.

Hopefully, it will be cleaned up and back on the road/track in no time.
