Equal opportunity for the three
Just thought this might be amusing to see what the guys in my fantasy league think. These are "ownership" stats for the top tier drivers. Lewis Hamilton 38% Felipe Massa 29% Kimi Raikkonen 24% Robert Kubica 14%
Why repeat this thread from last year? Hamilton does not suck, he drives for the wrong team is all. I still think he is overrated, but this year will tell either way. If he starts his overly aggressive style again this year, I hope someone boots him right off track. I do not know him personally, so can't comment on the rumors about his personality. He obviously likes bimbos as his choice in women.
Hamilton is talented and has an immense ego which makes him unpopular in some circles. The guy is probably a total dick in his private life too which is not exactly at odds with being a very successful F1 driver.
The guy has talent, not as much as everyone thinks(IMO). I hate him for his interviews, he is always blaming everyone for his problems when things go bad or he thinks he is God's gift to the sport when it goes well, it rubs me the wrong way. He's the F1 Obama.
From my personal experience talking to him in Montreal last year. He has issues! I'm surprised he can get his head into his helmet.
Hamilton is a great driver but prone to mistakes when not at the front. If Mclaren does not pick up the pace he may start making less than stellar and optimistic moves on pelple and end up crashing.
This year will be an excellent test of his talents. You could have argued that he's had the best machinery to ride around in for the last 2 years. He's never been in anything but a top notch F-1 team. Now, according to McLaren, they have a back runner car at least for the start of the season (although some think they are sandbagging). If the car is weak, how he squeezes points outs from an inferior car will really show what he has. Also, the pressure of being champ will be extreme. Everyone will be looking and gunning for him. The press will be analyzing every move. It could get into his head. Last year, Alonso really impressed me with his ability to push the lowly Renault around and still be competitive. That's a good driver. I'm not saying anyone can get into a good car and win. What I am saying is that what you do while driving in a poor machine shows your real talent. I'm not for or against Hamilton. I think this is the year he can be accurately evaluated.
Yeah, but if he does well everyone will say it's because of his equipment ie McLaren was sandbagging. If he doesn't then he's a crappy driver and just got lucky. It's a double edge sword.
We all know you have something against Hamilton, it really does get quite annoying reading all of your anti-hamilton posts.
I think he's a very talented driver. Jury's still out for me tho on if he's what the media is hyping him up to be. I would like to see the Mac struggle this season just to see how LH responds.
From his debut in F1 IMO 4 races in, you could tell he was the real deal, and he ROCK'S and for the rest of the time on here from certain members,I have read the most absurd post's to the contrary, if they can't bash his driving it's his personality ect, so much so those grapes must still be tasting sour. So for those who still think the jury's still out on him, well like has been posted, you will never be convinced whatever he does. Personality, well I think Big D's-(Barrister) picture say's it all..along with his post. Wrong team ...maybe.
