Formula 1 Racecar - 2009 Changes in 3D Animation Video

Judging by the speed of the Toyota in testing you might be in for a very long season.

 

Ha ha Timo is the man ...superb driver in the wet on slicks.

Very cool video! I wish someone would come up with a much more detailed explanation of a KERS system.

 

Here is a still from that video. From this it looks as if the generator doubles as a motor to recover the electrical energy. But I wish I knew more about it.

 

See I saw that in there, and I assume they're recovering the heat somehow but the most explanations that I've found have just been black box type diagrams.
